Right now, I'm counting my blessings hourly. When things get tough, it helps me focus on the positive and release negative thoughts. There's always something to be thankful for.

- I'm lucky to have this family. That includes my BF's family. His mother is one of the kindest people I know. I'm grateful for my mom; she might nag, but she has such a big heart and she helps me (and other people) as much as she can, not out of guilt or obligation or ulterior motives, but out of love. My grandma, 85 years old, has been a source of comfort and calm for me all my life. I always make time to spend with her, while she's here, because I know how I'll miss her when she's gone. I'm grateful she's on this earth.

- Sounds cliche, but I have my health. I'm healthier than I've been in years because I started taking care of myself. Being around people who have genuine health problems make me realize how lucky I really am.

So, what are you grateful for?

I'm grateful I have a job to go to, an internet to play on and my mom to talk to.

I'm grateful I have the motivation to do things again and I'm grateful my writing is helping me rediscover myself and my wants and desires which have been suffocated for too long.

I'm grateful to break free of my slump and push foreward, even if it reminds me of what got in there in the first place.

I'm grateful my friend sent me to this website :D

A wife who somehow miraculously puts up with me, which I know much be a chore itself. I have no idea what she sees in me, but I'm grateful.
A best buddy mutt who has stuck with me through so many troubling times, nearly thirteen years.
I still believe in something good happening tomorrow.
I sprout healthy completely natural hard-ons, and I get to use them in a positive way.

I opened this page to see this positive thread.

Thanks!

I am simply grateful for every breath, for every moment, for every pleasure, every smile, every thought, every debate, every fight, every love and every hate, (every orgasm!), every single person I know, all those I've only come across briefly and those I will never know, but affect my life and all of our lives by six degrees of Kevin Bacon, nonetheless.

I am grateful to all things and beings and events past and present because they have helped me become and be me, and I am grateful for every breath and moment, pleasure and thought, debate, love and hate, (and orgasm!) and person I will know or meet or affect or who will affect my life by six degrees of Kevin Bacon because all makes me who I will be and become.

I doubt I have given or will give greater thanks at any time than in this moment, except perhaps when I repeat my gratefulness at some future point beyond right now.

 Carson.

I so can relate to that. There's such a big world out there, it's time to grab it. Carpe diem!

I'm grateful for my dog too, and that he finally has a peaceful, happy home in which to live, and a brother-dog who treats him well and plays with him, instead of picking on him and terrorizing him.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

I have some absolutely amazing friends who have stuck by me no matter what. They've listened to me do nothing but sob on the phone, have laughed with me until we've cried, and they've bailed me out of situations where I would have been sunk without them.

I'm so thankful to have them all.

I am grateful for the health, intelligence, happiness, and utter beauty of my child. Though I may be a complete fuck up sometimes, she reminds me daily that at least I'm doing something so very right. :)

I am grateful for the sun and the wind and the rain and love and laughter - I am grateful for the world.

"When you're worried and you can't sleep
Just count your blessings instead of sheep
And you'll fall asleep counting your blessings."

I'm grateful for music.

I am so grateful that at my age, I can still start anew. My life can be the sum of everything that came before, but it can be also be completely new. New friends, new career, new love, new everything. I almost didn't make it.

I can relate to that.
In fact, I'm grateful for so many people that I've met - my best friend, my late dad...
I'm grateful that I discovered music at an early age. It has helped me through times that would otherwise have been unbearable.
I'm grateful that I'm at least reasonably intelligent. My analytical skills has helped me hang on through times of deep depression.
Finally, I'm grateful that I've never fallen into the "plan your life and career" trap. I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do next. And I value that freedom.

I'm grateful for my family, my family who are happy, well and mostly healthy.

I'm grateful for my friends who lift and inspire me,

I give thanks daily for the travellling mercies I recieve, plus the ones that keep my house secure and my life and the lives of my loved ones intact.

I'm grateful that I can write, that I have an outlet that gives me so much joy, that helps me express myself.

I'm constantly thankful for people buying my eBooks and constantly amazed, too.

I'm so grateful that no matter how much I screw up, no matter how many times I let him down I have a God who will always be there for me, sending me comfort, peac and love whenever I need it.

I live a grateful life and a smile is never far from my lips.

I am grateful for the passion that rules my life, the music that fills my soul and the memories that fuel my dreams.

I feel so fortunate that I have a positive, optimistic nature that keeps me afloat and helps people close to me make it through tough times.
