Catherine grew up the only child of a single Mom. Mom had mousy brown hair, Cat was a vivid ginger. When she got old enough to ask about why her playpals had Daddies and she didn't, Mom just said "Daddy was a sailor"

Cast is nineteen when Mom dies. Cleaning out the house for sale, Cat discovers a shobox in which , with other souvenirs, she finds a tattered faded photo of a much younger Mom, arm around a red haired young man in a sailor suit at a bar, laughing and drinking. Cat instantly knows this must be her Dad.

Photo in hand, Cat heads straight toward the docks...

The important decisions have yet to be made. Does Cat want revenge on her deadbeat Dad for disappearing? Does she want to find him and spend a life with him? Does she want to jump his bones? Or does she just want to spend her life at sea? Lots of ways this could go.

Also, I'd change her name to Brandy. She's a fine girl.
