Maybe thier moderators are more restrictive, or we're just the brightest light on the board and they flock here like moths.

I didn't think Brittany was that far out of line. She did state she was looking for a Daddy/Daughter relationship. Course she was looking for RT roleplay. Who's to say there isn't a certain amount of Dominance in these relationships. Anyone saying no would be fooling themselfs.

Yes, but you see, Lit is far more then just the ORP.
There are dedicated personals sections. There are dedicated BDSM sections (of course I wouldn't know where, nope, not me )
And there's even a BDSM peronals section.
Add in the Sexual Role Playing area and she's set.
Her post, as is, is in the wrong forum.

You're new, so may not understand how oddly miffing this is some days. We get about a dozen such "looking for..." something we don't have here threads a month, it gets frustrating.
Now I don't think we need to baracade the doors but perhaps a better sign would be nice.

And if you think we're bad AVOID the General Board (GB) at ALL costs- they're just plain evil to newbies.

Yeah, no one's perfect.
And while some of us are mean to one degree or another, we mostly don't mess with the newbies too much- more fun to mess with those we know.

It's not that big of a mistake, to be honest. Most of the people that do this are new people, who don't know where everything is on the site just yet. I'm sure you didn't know your first day there were the ORP, SRP, Playground, Personal, and BDSM forums that all fall under similar lines, but are very different.
I think the reason we get it worse off than some others, is that we are the role playing forum. Now, you go to a Sex website, and it says role playing forum... you tend to put the two together. Sex website, role playing forum. Sexual role playing. It's not that big of a leap in anyone's mind.

I haven't been around lately? I was here last thursday. What's wrong with you? Ambrosious hasn't been here in years, and Ravenloft only comes on every few months or so, but I've been here, solid as I can. Lately I haven't had much internet time, so it's been slow, but still...
Give a guy some credit, trying to keep all the riff raff out.

Pooh- no one was making a slam on you or Ravenloft. (I've never "meet" Ambrosious so can't speak for him/her)
Just there seems to have been quite a few of these lately and it wears on everyone's patience a bit. Some more then others.

I can understand how people would get confused, but most of them post once, then once we've told them they're in the wrong room, we see no "gee, thanks, I'm sorry" posts or anything like that.
Personally, I'd rather be told, hey, Vix, you're in the wrong forum, try this one, you'll get better responses there then to have a thread open for a while and no one cared enough to say anything.

I know I don't speak for everyone and I wouldn't claim to do so. I just know that I get a little miffed seeing something in the wrong forum like this.


On another note- um, why is this my thread now? Can I at least change the title? I'm NOT into Daddy/daughter play. Ewww... not my kind of kink at all.
