I think the biggest problem of incest is they have pretty much all been done, se wants him, he wants her they get together, one seduces the other, she is a pro and he hires her, she answers a personal and it's dad, they talk online about daddy fantasies and it's actually her dad, they come home drunk and thinking it's someone else get in bed together, and the oddest one, family is kidnapped and forced to do each other.

About the only thing not done is building up to it, most of the incest stories, at least all that I have looked at, are short, most have little to anything about the why and just get to the doing.

Which means, do the why anyway you feel up to doing it and just make it long.

It's varied, within a fairly limited range of setups and scenarios, is the way I'd describe it myself

I think a lot of subjects suffer from this affliction because it's just the way of writing in general - but especially here on this site because we're for the most part ametuer writers, and for Incest/Taboo mostly because of the sheer volume of readership and stories written. There's only so many ways you can write up a 'realistic' incest event, and a lot of those ways just end up being done over again and again.

But each writer brings something a little new and different to their work, and the better ones at least make you want to read through it. My tolerance for 'all the same' is pretty high - throw out some 'different' ideas of your own if you want, but I personally think there's enough variety for the category here.

With, currently, 11,129 stories in the Incest/Taboo category, its pretty damn likely that up to half if not more of these stories could be viewed as 'all the same' - doesn't mean that they aren't worth a read, out of hand. That in my view's the same for any category of story I open up

Out of mine at least, the Naughty Boy! series are 5-6 pages each... that's pretty damn long enough for me as a writer for a lit story, at least!

PRETTY fair enough story, maybe I was a little lacking in realism that the characters got so nasty in their fuckin when things got round to that, but there's buildup enough in the tale, IMO, and a little bit 'o story to explain the sex

Anyway, really I think the best way to make it a new story and not like every other father/daughter incest thing is to make it long, and have a specific thing be the reason dad wants her.

Most of them seem to be relegated to I saw her naked and did a double take she's gorgeous, I mean yawn.

Now if I was to be doing soemthing like this and wanted truely different I would pick one thing that made me wet and drooling over him. Like the way he looked at his car, such passion, I just had to have him looking at me like that. Or what drew me to my guy after his personality, the way his face looked in a partial light, his nose kinda lit up, his eyes half hidden just boring right into me, oh my that gets me wet just picturing it.

there are stories with a bit of real depth, reasoning and emotion to them out there, for sure, but for the most part I think they don't do quite so well because that's not necessarily the type of erotica folks reading lit stories are after. and you have to also remember, that a lot of these stories are 'fantasy' works, in other words chicks hav huge knockers, guys go for ages, there's groupsex every other page, everyone lives happily ever after with their crazy unreal actions.

definitely not the way real life works, but the readers like that type of stuff and thats what the majority of folks give them. there are probably TONNES of readers out there that, over time, turn to 'writers' too - that is how I started here anyway, read for ages and then suddenly started making my own tales.

so the quality of the work is NOT always gonna be superhigh on a free, ametuer erotica lit site like this. Nothing ya can do but lump it and move on

the way i like to work is write for both yourself and the reading audience, so try and please both parties if at all possible. if you like story, description, and sex, write like that and you'll get readership who will appreciate you and readership that won't. same as any other writing style - someone out there's most likely gonna love it, and on the other hand someone else will despise it.

its the way of the author and i dont really care, i write mainly for myself in the first place

A perfect summary of the incest genre as a whole but I think you left out the mom passed away and dad was lonely.

It's the most popular category at Lit, but I think many other story sites have rules against incest stories, so that might have something to do with it's popularity here.

I read 'em at Lit from time to time, and you're right; most incest stories lack any sort of imagination. Once in a while I find a well-written story though, with a good setup and interesting characters. Once in a while...
