Say, we have a question. My wife and I watched a movie the other night by the name of "Secretary" with James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal. It caught our attention very much so. It was about a Lawyer and his Secretary in a relationship that evolves into a Dominant/submissive relationship. We both found it very arousing and was wondering if anyone might know of other movies or resource that have a similar theme regardless of the rating. We are both excited to explore this D/s in our activities. I was not surprised as to our arousal, just the level to which it rose to. This film has peaked a curiosity for both of us. Any suggestions of movies, resourses, or web sites that we may explore? Thank you in advance.

Fashionistas is a great X rated movie that depicts BDSM at its best (or worst, depending on your personal views)
Cost a fortune but worth the $

Exit To Eden is a comedy movie of Ann Rice's novel of the same name. It was cute and had some good party wear.

Video Selections You May or May Not Find at Your Local Blockbuster

In the Realm of the Senses (Japanese, subtitled). Very hot.

Tokyo Decadence (Japanese, subtitled). A few very hot scenes.

Les Meduses, or Les Meduses (French, subtitled) not truly D/s but very hot.

The Girl on the Bridge (French?, subtitled)

Try these out, if you can find them.

The D/s is way below the surface in this, but I said in another thread it's my favorite D/s movie.... "La Strada" by Fellini.

Giulietta Masina is a poor woman with mental limitations, innocent and loving, sold by her mother to a sociopathic, aggressive circus strongman played by Anthony Quinn. He treats her much as one would treat an animal and yet she falls in unwavering love with him. It's as much a biblical/religious/existential meditation on service and worship as it is what we'd call "D/s" and it's a moving, bleak, excruciatingly emotional film, feel bad in all the ways Secretary is feel good...BUT it does define some pinnacle idea in my mind of the essence of slavery, devotion, and love.

I also like The Postman Always Rings Twice for Noir Femme Fatale pussy control. Barbara Stanwyck....mrrrowr. They always give the noir bitch her comeuppance in the end, but that always seems weaker than your impressions of her, so she wins in my book.

The list thus far...

So many choices... Thank you all for your replies. I am looking forward to researching/viewing these choices at my leisure. This is appearing to be the most pleasing research I have yet to take on. Does anyone feel their appetite growing? *Smile*

The Marketplace by laura antoniou. Great series of books

i saw one that was interesting. The Piano Teacher.

We discussed it a bit in a thread here. i enjoyed the movie ... even the brutal ending. It might not be to everyone's taste, but i think it qualifies as a D/s movie.

Another movie is 9 and 1/2 Weeks. i only saw that for the first time this past year. i enjoyed that as well.

Happy hunting imagenus3.
