Oh, and she just loves her name in the title of a thread, too! :)

Wow! Very very cool pic, Juspar - and *just* right for me. Thank you so much. As soon as i unearth my copy of Paint Shop Pro, i'll do the work on it and wear it gleefully. I mean, wear it with quiet pride. I mean, i'll put the thing on and see how it fits.

Yogi?
I just saw this and i'm sorry we've had such trouble connecting. Our everyday lives sometimes really get in the way, don't they? You've got a PM, btw.

Dill, thank you for resizing the pic for me. I *hate* not knowing where all my stuff is but i also *hate* unpacking. Those two hates are at war with each other. I unpack a little and then the loathing overtakes my ability to do any more of that for a day or three.

I'm getting four new bookcases on Saturday (two ceiling height, two shorter) to add to the three i already have. THEN i can unpack the mountain of boxes of books that are sitting squarely in the middle of my living room. THEN i can uncrate art and hang it up. THEN i can do...something with the rest of these boxes, many of which contain stuff that used to fit into and onto furniture i no longer have.

For instance, i have a globe. It's a big globe, the kind that sits on a table. All the continents are made of different stones and minerals that were cut and polished and placed precisely. The bodies of water are all lapis lazuli, for instance, the US is some kind of light granite, Laos is jade, and Australia is something reddish and sparkly. It's gorgeous beyond belief but i have no place to put it anymore. My soon-to-be-former-husband got the table on which it used to reside. Until i get another table (and that's way down the priority list, quite frankly), it's got to live in a box, sadly enough.

Anyway.
So goes life.

The bookcases are coming.
You resized this av for me.
I have good coffee at my elbow.
The sun is shining.
All is well.

Thanks again, my friend.

Wow, Cym, that globe sounds simply amazing! I love globes, and have been looking for the perfect one... it appears you already own it. :)

Since Yogi started this thread, I say we use him as the Judas goat, and direct any need to contact cym without actually posting her name in the title, *ahem,* by leaving our messages here. Thanks Yogi. ;)

Apparently Yogi was unaware of the cringing and blushing and muttered exclamations of oh my god - no!with which i greet any threads with my name in the title.

Please allow me to take this opportunity to remind those i care for and admire of that little tiny eensy weensy personal quirk i carry around with me.

Thank you very much.
