Cutest on-screen couples

A couple of days ago, there was a thread about the most electric on-screen couples, which wavered briefly into a discussion of cute couples. The waver was interesting (well to me anyway), so I thought I'd set up a thread.

Which characters in film or on television can you just feel yourself melt for? For me it's most of the Buffy or Angel characters. I love watching and empathising with their relationships (despite SMG's occasional tendency towards scenery-chewing) and the episodes where they hurt make me hurt right along with them, especially now. Oz and Willow can reduce me to tears at will atm, simply because of the way they remind me of myself and my former Lady. Surprisingly good acting.

Any other suggestions?

Okay then, it was just me who was interested. Fair enough.

Timmy & Lassie

There's actually a fabulous parody out there where Lassie gets it on with a coyote while a horrified Timmy stands by. Not a Lit parody either - I seem to remember that for some bizarre reason it was in my college composition book.

CV: How much of your namesake have you drunk? Some surrealist responses in this thread.

OK, if you haven't seen "Gravitation"...

She looks kinda scared actually, like it's some random stranger who's put his arm around her.

I never understood what Willow saw in that ugly wimp Tara.

I don't think Tara's ugly. I think she's quite pretty and definitely sexy. What's wrong with her?

I go with the controversial Buffy/Spike pairing. As far as Angel goes, I was loving the Wesley/Fred thing until it ended about five minutes later, wah! Let's see, I don't really watch any other tv. Oh, I always thought Hart To Hart was rad. Though if I were rich, I wouldn't really go around solving crimes for free. Hell with that shit. :)

If we're talking about the big screen, I'm all about Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant or even Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. I'm not really so much for Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, they look like people pay them a lot to like each other.

Uhm... it's a he. They're both boys. And the reawson why pinky looks so scared is becuse he's shocked. He came there to yell at blondie for insulting him the other day, and blondie surprised him by putting on an act in front of a female visitor that pinky was in fact his boyfriend...
Great show.

Tara's boring, and she's got ugly eyes. Like she's got the flu permanently.

I like Tara's eyes. Plus I think she's got a pretty smile and nice hair. I'm a hair person - first thing that attracts me. If I had to say any of the Buffy cast was ugly, I'd have to go for SMG. Her nose scares me; nobody's nose should have those kind of straight lines and right angles around their nostrils.

The red-head in your pic does look like a girl to me, yet I can't actually pick out why. Maybe it's the height difference or the rounded face.

Somewhere there exists a videotape of an episode from an obscure Comedy Central program that parodied "Lassie," substituting a knuckle-dragging, semi-coherent Charles Manson for the collie:

"What is it, Manson? What's wrong, boy?"

"From the world of darkness I did loose demons and the power of scorpions to torment!"

"Timmy's in trouble? At the abandoned mine?!"

I kinda liked the pairing of Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. I like his fumbling ways!
