I've oftentimes wondered, if someone asks for PMs for whatever reason (personal ads, etc.), why do other people post a reply to the thread simply to say "PM sent"? If the first person asked for PMs logic would dictate that they will check their PM box. To post "PM sent" is redundant.
And on a side note, why post a thread in a specific type of board to ask for PMs? After all, the Story Idea board is one for posting your ideas for stories. It would be just like going to the Sexual Role Play board and starting up a new thread saying "PM me!"

Hi Lindsay Rae. You bring up an interesting point. My reason is to let other viewers know that at least one other person has already responded. If we all did this, if a member got 20 PM's in a few hours, it might suggest that the writer is currently overwhelmed. I feel I'm just being polite to other readers.

And I appreciate the note on here Experience because I have received a lot of PM's. And to answer her question I thought this would be the best place to ask if someone would like a story written for them rather than one of the other boards. I thought maybe that some members might feel more comfortable doing it this way than starting their own particular thread and posting their story idea. But thank you for your unsolicited input anyways. Healthy discourse is an important part of society.

Ok I guess I have to update this thread with when I am and am not accepting new ideas. As of now I am not accepting anymore. I have received a ton already and have accepted to writing a couple. I will update again when I am ready to accept new ones. Thanks to everyone that submitted an idea. Also I will include below my guidelines to help streamline the process.
GUIDELINES:
I am looking to write fast moving stories roughly 2 to 5 pages long (actual story may end up longer). I will not accept any projects that deal with bestiality or children. I will consider ideas with what I call softcore incest (ie. mutual masturbation or peeping each other but no actual sex between family members).
What I need from you:
An idea. Specific details (names[first only and they don't even have to be the real names],height,weight, eye /hair color, etc.). What sort of things sexually are do's and don't for you. As of late I have enjoyed crafting stories that revolve around a series of photos. If you are not into providing photos that is ok, it is not a must for me to write your story. More details may be asked for as the process rolls along. Again nothing that will compromise your comfort level and privacy.
