Quite by accident I discovered a very strong submissive streak in myself during on-line play with a friend. I'm not certain I will ever pursue the lifestyle, but I want to be able to explore it more. Ok maybe I do need more details.

What I am looking for:

In general friends. Anything we do must start with that.

Flirts/teasing. I like flirting it's fun, it makes us both feel good, and it can be done with anyone. (note: People who are currently in committed relationships, this is about as far as I am willing to go with you).

Good conversationalists.

Passion, for whatever things you are passionate about.

Knowledge. I like to learn and explore things completely. Doesn't matter which topic you have knowledge in, I'ds like to hear about it.

People who will let me discuss taboo topics so I can figure out what my interests are.

What I am hoping for:
To find a a partner. It's a hope. If you just want to flirt that is good too, but just be aware that if it goes beyond flirting this is what I am looking for.


What I am NOT looking for:

People in committed relationships looking to add a bit of spice to their lives. (We can flirt, but I don't want to get involved with people who are allready involved.)

People who want only to cyber. I am looking for you to participate in a wider area than just sexual play.

People who want to just order/inflict paiin/humiliate. That causes a knee jerk reaction in me, an unpleasant one at that.

Bio:
40, overweight (read that as morbid obese - planning to get Gastric Bypass within the next year or so). Blond, Blue, 5'5" - Bachelor's in General Biology and Microbiology (can we say Ubergeek poster child?) I like the scifi/fantasy genre of books and stories, I also occasionaly read mystery/detective stories. I also like some action movies (Jackie Chan, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwartzenegger). I'm not really into "chick flics" but the occassional bodice ripper is OK.


Due to accident related ruptured disks in my back, I can't go on long walks even though I would love to do that. Love the mountains (lived in Northern Colorado for a while), love cool weather, hate heat and humidity.

I like all kinds of animal, have both a cat and a dog, would have more of them but due to rental limits and family harmony have never had more than that at one time even though I would probably have a houseful if I could. I don't mind "farm" smells, because I like farm animals, Horses, goats, sheep, and such, the smell is just part of the package.

I prefer Rural Towns to Urban cities - I drove through El Paso Tx once, on the highways, It was a bit more than I was comfortable with - once you get three layers stacked on top of each other with interchanges and overpasses, I almost had to stop driving, but then I would never be able to get off the highway.

I like museums, theater (plays, opera ballet etc), fairs (note walking restriction).

I have had a couple of people offer to answere questions privately who I am very grateful for their help. I'd name them publically, but I don't want them to get innundated with PM's.

Having taken a small step to test my RL tolerance for submission, I have confrimed that I am a sub - or at least a switch with a preference for sub.

Also having responded to a number of different threads, I was ccontacted by someone else from this board and given information on a local group that I could contact and have a safe place to find more information.

All in all, I did get the information I was needing and a few contacts to ask more questions of.

*sigh* Now if I could just find the right person to be my partner...

It had to do with putting myself in a humiliating situation to please a friend. He was. I also put myself into temporary overdrive because of it.He was pleased about that too.
