I discovered that I was a Dom a long time ago when I was with a naturally submissive lady. The pleasure was much greater and it felt very natural for me.
Now, I am not happy unless I am with a submissive lady.
For me, the "online" slave thing does not work. It is too easy for one side to step away. There is no true state of control or submission.
Online stuff for me is just empty... unless you have already been with that person in the flesh.... then it can be very nice. But never like skin to skin.
