Curious about something I've seen...

My roommate is a gay man, and occasionally he will watch some of his porn in the living room. I was raised that consensual human sexuality in any form is nothing to fear, so I have watched some of it with him. It is interesting to see what others see as arousing (pretty damn easy for most guys gay or straight), but my question is this.

In many of the movies, I notice that alot of the guys have a band around their testicles. Either cinching them down low, or around both the penis and balls.

I know this is not specific to gay men, but that is where I have seen it most often.

What does this do for them? I have tried a few items on my self, mostly by hand or untied string (neither of which work terribly well), but I have never purchased anything created specifically for this purpose.

I suspect what he is talking about is a ball stretcher. This is very much like a cock ring and is mainly for the sensation of havnig your balls stretched tight. I cannot find any research that shows it delays ejaculation, though if it were tight enough I suspect it could limit it some.

Cock rings and other CBT toys are used primarily to enhance the sensations in your genitals and though they can help sustain an erection, the mainly give you a stronger erection.
