[I just heard this lyric the other day for the first time - which blew me away - particularly in the musical context of the song. And I was just curious as to how many here may be familiar with it? Spark.]

Where is the ritual
Where is the taste
Where is the sacrifice
Where is the faith

Someday there'll be - a cure for pain
And that's the day - I throw my drugs away

Where.....

Is the cave where the wise women chant

And where.....

Is all that money that I've spent

I propose a toast to - my self-control
See it crawling - helpless on the floor

Someday there'll be - a cure for pain
And that's the day - I throw my drugs away

And that's the day - I throw my drugs away

[I guess it got to me even more knowing the creator, singer and bass player - took his own life via drug overdose about a year ago. Spark.]

:( That is tragic. Very depressing. I think Fleshmachine I would rather do the carbon monoxide than the .380, however.

The reality of it is, there is no cure for pain.

You can only choose to deal with it.

Dealing with it may involve therapy or drugs(I use both), but there is only one cure.

Depression is my friend, he gives me good drugs.

Well I have to agree with the first part of your point about paina nd dealing with it...however the rest...well....I will just leave it at that I don't agree with it....

No one said you have to agree.:)

But as long as I look at the issues in black and white it is easier for me to deal with them.:)

I have been to the brink of self-destruction too many times for me to deny my own suicidal tendecies.;)

Denial is not a river in Egypt.:)

From Fleshmachine your typical, happy go lucky, man of many issues.

I know I don't have to agree, just stating my opinion
