Cupping

I'm not sure if any of the following information helps, its been well over 10 years since I used cupping (we call it vacumn suction over here). And I only ever used it in the 'treatment' sense, not in a BDSM way.

Most people would come for this treatment as an aid to help cleanse the Lymphatic system, as the lymphatic system obviously doesn't have a heart mechanism to pump it around, it is thought that VS helps in releasing the toxins quicker. Good for circulation in the skin etc.

Anyway....all that is pretty irrellevant to the BDSM user, but the contra indications could be useful (and a pointer for safety).

People who have suffered with/have the following shouldn't (although I guess its down to the individual) have it used on them -:

Strokes
Heart problems
varicous veins
Any blood disorders
(simply because in effect the suction cup could speed up the or instigate the moving of clots etc), assuming the cup is to be moved or dragged.

Cancer (cells can be carried along the lymph system easily, and the lymph system is the most effected by cupping)

also over large moles or birthmarks.

Areas with heavy bruising

hope this helps a bit :)

I am interested in cupping, have done quite a bit of research on it ... but don't have the funds for the cupping set that I want (multiple sizes of cups, comes with a book of the accupressure/accupuncture points that you are supposed to cup at, and a tray that you put water and the cups in, plug it in, and it heats it to a safe and effective temp). I will definately be watching this thread to see what others have used ...

And thanks for the snakebite kit tip skyline :D

I'm glad you asked Brinnie, I wasn't sure what it was until I saw it myself.

There are probably websites dedicated to this that could it explain it better than I, but from what I can tell cupping is the use of small cups or jars to create rings of suction on the skin.

oh... :( It sounded like SPOONING! :nana:

Most welcome... try making your boy lick the inside of the cups before you use them, i find it intensifies the sensations.

also... the cupping set i have experience with didn't use either heat or water, it simply used adjustable stoppers... i can't describe it better...

Does anyone have any experience with cupping?
If so:
Did you enjoy it?

Does it really make the flesh more sensitive?

Are there any precautions we should be aware of?

Did you use heat or did you use the pump type of cups?

I'm interested in any and all experiences.
Thanks
I have just recently bought a set! I enjoy doing it to others aw well as myself! It makes the skin feel I guess I'd say fresher. As for precautions... I would go with the suction ones first so that you aren't burning the people you are doing it to... unless thats what you are into;) I have the pump ones and I haven't gotten the exact science on how to make them not leave giant hickies for days yet, but I'm still learning!

Good thread By the Way
