The reason she was pissed was because her quarantine was in a tent. No tv, no books or magazines, nothing. Can you imagine sitting in a tent for three weeks with nothing to do but stare at the walls.
I believe medical personnel should be quarantined but at home or an actual facility with amenities to pass the time. This is just another example of government incompetence.

Why is it such a horrible thing to take precautionary measures and quarantine individuals who have been in infected areas as to ensure the health and safety of others? If our soldiers who have been in infected areas are currently being quarantined in Italy, why can we not require the same set of precautionary measures be put into place for individuals who have voluntarily chosen to aid Ebola patients and/or have recently come from countries with known infections?

Common sense? Nonsense! What is the worry with a few degrees higher temperature from the Ebola virus when the entire PLANET is heating up as we speak. We will likely all be dead in a weak or so from global warming.
THAT is something to panic about.
Isn't it interesting how "sides" are drawn up and the same people are always on the idiotic side. Panic about an event-line out a hundred years or more but go into hysterics about how calm they are "not in panic" about a very contagious, highly lethal disease.
Anyone suggesting something as reasonable as quarantine that we do for oranges, is "in panic mode." How many threads are there about how the polar bears are gonna drown?
