Okay -- I am sure this has been discussed on this thread at some point.

I just got this comment on a story

Cum vs Come

You need to go back to school and learn how to use the right words in a sex story.

Personally, I NEVER use "cum" -- I think it is really tacky. Any opposing opinions?

I usually use come for the action and cum for the stuff. Although, really, I've not used either one in a while.

I quit using it as a verb because the tenses were a nightmare. I retain it in its noun form. I've even went back and edited it out of older stories from before I made the change.

The one exception is in quotes of written word ( text messages, etc. )

I suppose that in the right context, I might still use it. I try to sync up the language of the narrative with the nature of the story. If the sex is rough, my word choice tends to follow.

don87654 has pretty specific criteria for everything from what I've seen in the feedback portal. Everything must be down and dirty, and all women must be impregnated.

I never use 'cum'. Personally, the word annoys me. It says, to me, the writer couldn't be bothered to spell the word correctly.

And if people say to me, "How are we going to understand if the person came?" I say back, "We human beings are good with context."

This is the criteria I use to edit. "Come" is the action/verb, "I'm coming!" and "cum" is the noun - "his cum."
