I can't find the instructions for making threads pop out of the browser with big fonts.

Can someone point me to the post or repost the directions? Any chance they could get into the FAQ?

I've seen the thread in the FAQ but haven't approved it yet. It looks complicated and I don't understand it at all. Does anyone think it might put off potential writers rather than help?

I'm happy to go along with whatever the group decides.

I could cut it down to a reference to the Tips and Tricks thread if that would make more sense. I wanted to make it somewhat self-contained. But you're right, it's fairly technical and advanced compared to the relatively introductory content focused more tightly on the content of the site.

Whatever makes the most sense. (Add a Chyoo Wizards FAQ story? :) )

If it's too technical, the non technical people won't read it. I doubt they'll stop reading everything else.

Perhaps it could be moved to a section called "Advanced".

Include a brief proviso at the top, so they can decide to just not read it.

I checked the about.com Firefox listing from the FAQ entry, and got exactly the correct answer. I wish I had possessed this information when I implemented my CSS many months ago.

I have created an "Advanced" thread on the FAQ.

I have created an "Advanced" thread on the FAQ.

I'd be happy to add my thread following "Advanced" and have the original location rejected if that would make more sense.

Or someone else could copy the content following "Advanced"

Moving the thread to the last section of the FAQ, "Advanced Tips and Tricks" would be better.

Can someone add a thread in this section on how to get more than 4 options in a story?

I've also made Torg and Zingiber sub-editors to help.

All the topics from the Advanced Tricks thread here belong in that section. Or have we hit all of them now?
