Ted, buddy, knock it off. A lot of folks frankly need this. For someone who claims to be "pro-family," you have a funny way of helping people start families. Give me one good reason not to vote for Colin Allred now? I've never voted for Ted Cruz for anything in my life, and this doesn't make me want to start. My parents, mind you, voted for Cruz in the 2016 primaries, but that's them. I love my parents, but they are definitely classic Christian Right evangelical conservatives.

He seems like a good example of someone who doesn't have a working definition for what a human being is, and subscribes to something like a 'soul'.

I watch the political ads Cruz puts out about his opponent for the Senate race. Ted is projecting what he does onto his opponent. Here in Texas Cruz is known as "Cancun Cruz" for trying to run off to Cancun while the power was knocked out by an ice storm. He tried blaming it on his kids. Cruz's name is not Ted but Raphael Edward Cruz. He uses Ted to help him get the Anglo vote. I often wondered if a doctor or nurse rather than put down Eduardo as his middle name made a mistake and put down Edward.

I see nothing incompatible with IVF and a devotion to Allah as I understand him.

Just a wedge issue on a guy not in the big show.

Abortion just doesn't have the legs and impact that it used to thanks to technology.

People can see the babies.

But, he has a point. You create life, and then, if you don't like the DNA, you just snuff it. This kind of mental and soul callousness leads to a lot of things, like two assassination attempts in very short order by shooters possibly motivated by rhetoric, just not Trump's. He's not accusing his opponents of being Nazis, Hitler or a (clear and present) danger to Democracy.

This is just another tool of the DNC that the employ to avoid talking about the unintended consequences of their altruistic actions: like flooding us with a ton of money...

technology

Musk let them/us see the suppression of conservative viewpoints and ideas, a lot like Lois Lerner and the IRS; she was all wound up on rhetoric. Nobody needed to tell her what to do any more than they needed to give the shooters instructions...

I opened my floodgate, and no even a trickle. Nary a drop.

Lied to ag'in, Josey . . . .

Put them in Andersonville...

Like we put the "mostly peaceful" J6 middle-class crew into solitary confinement, but nobody who burned cities paid a stiff price, a little pat on the back of the hand and a winked warning, you know you're not supposed to get caught...

Those people who object to IVF because of life at conception are the same people who would object to the birth rate decline by not allowing it.

“IVF causes morons to attempt assassinations” is the dumbest thing written on this forum this week. Congratulations. 🏆

In any case, Cruz will have to work very hard to get my vote at this point. I somehow doubt that he cares, though. Even so, just for the record, I'm leaning strongly toward Allred.
