(Crucial Question) Ladies, what is your favorite color nail polish and lipstick.

Since I don't have any left, I wear mostly shades of blue. I like Sally Hansen's Chrome line. Those colors rock.

Actually... my favorite lipstick is Carmex. I'm a non-makeup user. I wash my face, do all the toner, moisturizer, and masque stuff, but other than slapping a coat of base on every so often, that's the end of it. I stare at the world with a naked face everday. Is there anyone else who does that or am I just an exhibitionistic freak?

My fingernail polish varies from black and maybe navy to jean jacket and shocking pink.

My lips are covered by whatever is handy. I am not into lipstick that much.

Is this a crucial question because you're trying to find matching shades for Dr. Blue for Christmas, or are you just curious about the Ladies of Lit?

If you're trying to find complimentary shades for Dr. Blue, try going to the makeup counter that sells that brand of nail polish. They should be able to give you all sorts of ideas.

As for me, I usually go without makeup. I have naturally dark lips and dark lashes and eyebrows, so I don't need to highlight my features much. When I do don makeup, my favorite shade is MAC's Odyssey, a deep purple/burgundy.

I've got those nail art stickers and water decals for my nails. I really like those things, they're pretty cool looking when you do them right. Anyone else like them?

I'm wearing Sally Hansen's Aqua Chrome right now, it's looking a little chippy around the tips so I think I'll do them again today. I like doing my nails cause I can do them and type while they're wet. Cool beans.

my favorite lip stick is just cherry chapstick. i don't wear nail polish because i bite my nails and adding color to the torn stubs only makes them look worse.

well, when i was a kid my mom used to put tobasco sauce on my fingers in order to get me to stop. all that did is teach me not to rub my eyes and give me a high tollerance for spicy food. i went for a good long time without biting about two years ago and had really nice nails for a while. then my stress just kept getting higher and higher and higher and eventually i decided it wasn't worth the effort to keep myself from biting. some day it will be important to me again, but until then i'll just indulge my oral fixation any way i can

My favorite nail polish is Malago Wine, by OPI. I only like it on my toes though. I keep my finger nails natural - just a buff shine if I'm going out.

Favorite lipstick is Estee Lauder, Pure Plum. I swear, it looks great on anybody, day or night. Doesn't go pink or orange on me, which many do. And if they ever discontinue it, I'll send death threats to the CEO.

On my nails, I normally wear a french manicure (handy to be able to do them yourself), but when I want just a real touch of color, my favorite nail polish is MAC's rocket, which is a deep red/crimson with black undertones. There's also "I swear I'm not a waitress" red, which is bright crimson. Lipstick is generaly Blistex ultra protection, but favorite colors are "New York Red" and "O" by MAC. NYR is a match to Rocket, and O is a bronze color. With pale complextion with dark lips, dark hair, lashes, and and grey eyes, the richer colors seem to work better.

I rarely wear lipstick. Every once in awhile, I get bored so I do. I own two. One is a very dark purple and the other is a very dark brownish purple. Most lipsticks make me look washed out, yellow, or sick. Those are the only two colors I've found aside from neutrals, (which are pointless because they make me look like I'm not wearing lipstick at all with my coloring) that compliment my coloring.

I never coordinate my nailpolish and lipstick. Actually, I rarely wear nailpolish either. If I do, I usually also go for a french manicure, or plain old clear.

When I'm feeling punchy, sometimes I slap on some glitter.

I -always- have my toenails done. Colors range from green to blue to pink. I never wear red though.

Red -anything- (make up, clothes...) looks terrible with my skin color.

i wear whatever color nail polish i feel like putting on.. only i use the cheap stuff (lack of funding keeps me there).. but my favorite of all the colors i have is called black plum

i dont wear lipstick very often and wehn i do, its either a shimmery orange or this one called baby kiss

My nails are almost always done in an American manicure, nail polish is way to much hassle for me. I do paint my toenails though, I love this polish called Grass Stain (Urban Decay), it's a glittery green color.

I never wear lipstick either, I'm a lip gloss kind of girl. Though I'm sure I would if I could find a color I liked on me.

I have my nails done every 2 weeks... most of the time.. done in a french manicure.. because that matches with anything I wear.. during the month of December.. I use a bright red.. Can't remember the name.. but Mr. Wong down at the Asian nail place knows which one it is

As far as lipstick.. I don't usually wear any. But i have everything from a light pink to a bright red... I have something for every occasion
