I know there are some impressively techie adepts here.

Can i have some help?

I need to know how to clear the mem in the following places:
1. My mouse. (MS wireless, just got it last month and, no, i don't know where the info on it is anymore.)

2. The mem that pops up in places like google where i put in "a" for example, going toward "apple"... and before i can type in "pple", [/i]"anal"[/i] (combined with a really mind-bending selection of other words) pops up, big as life.

I have computer savvy kids.
I want to be able to clean out my mem in those places, you know?

Help?

Harold's answers in General cover the auto-completion nicely, I trust you saw them.

I don't understand what you mean about mouse memory, though. Typically they don't have anything more complex than a way to generate signals which the computer interprets. If you want to take another stab at this by describing the symptom or behavior you're hoping to change maybe we can figure out what you're after.

When I installed a Microsoft Intellimouse it placed a shortcut to the Online User's Guide in Start/Programs/Microsoft Hardware/Mouse.
Have you tried clicking "Mouse" in Control Panel? Maybe changing your Mouse's preferences will accomplish what you want to do.
