Crop Circles..Whaddaya Think?

[Lost Cause]

Real or fake? I watched a program tonight with some scientific research into the phenomena. The evidence they presented was cellular disruption of the grass/wheat/barley. Plus they demonstrated genetic abnormalities in the new growth of seeds from the affected area. Soil samples from within the circles showed properties like that of deep soil exposed to high heat and pressure. Outside the circles soil was normal. The scientists placed a compass inside the circle, and it spun wildly.
*They made a point of emphasis that this evidence was from UNEXPLANED circles, not from "hoaxed" circles.

*What do you think?

Actually, I think they are both man made and other phenomenon based.

They are just too perfect to be totally man made. Too uniform, too flawless, the wheat bends in such a way that only something of this world couldn't do it.

There's a good chance that aliens don't exists but I'm not ruling them out.

However, why would an intelligent species travel millions of light years simply to draw circles in people's fields? They'd either choose to not communicate with us, communicate with a few individuals, or communicate to everyone using some sort of mathematical algorithm.

I say, it's a hoax.

I am REAL skeptical about EVERYTHING, but I use a simple formula to decide if something seemingly ridiculous is bullshit or not.

It seem to me that crop circles would be real hard to do and dont really benefit their makers.

Look at some of the pictures, I can understand hoaxing a circle with ropes and boards. But I can't figure how rings outside the circle with no connection, or straight lines are made that can only be observed from a higher position from the site. Hard to believe some of the more complex designs could be made unobserved.

First off, saying that people who disagree with you don't have 'open minds' or 'wouldn't believe the sun was out until they got a sunburn' isn't exactly the way to win an argument, nor does it help communication.

All letters are symbols. All numbers are symbols. All geometric shapes have mathematical properties; then again, everything has mathematical properties.

That doesn't mean they have communicative properties. If aliens wanted everyone to know they existed it would be easy enough to hover over NY City for 12 minutes and then fly off.

Also, notice the countries these appear in: Canada, America, England, New Zealand, Switzerland and Poland. Why none in non-English speaking countries?

I've looked at all the designs presented on that website and all could be made without observation from above because they're all made up of evenly spaced geometric figures. Heck, Native Americans were able to create a picture of a mile long man with an erection without alien help.
