I know I'm letting myself in for a ego crush, but I need someone who can help me with continuity and story structure. Also stupid oversights, which I don't catch.

I'm trying to write a "Soap Opera" type series and have two chapters up and three on the disk, that I wonder about.

Despite being here since 2008, I'm still a novice and I want this story to transcend the strokers that I have been polishing my skills on.

Any takers? :cattail:

Story length in words would be helpful. Maybe I can help, should be done with my next Zombies chapter by tomorrow and then could look if you want.

Well the whole series could be 300-400,000 words! hard to say just now.
The chapters I need help with now are #'s 3 & 4 ~ 14,000, 12,000 and 2700 words, although I'm extending the short one to add a couple of character expositions.

Barbra Ann is forcing me to write her a larger more fulfilling role! And I just figured out how to transition to G.G. and Mary Lynn's lesbian encounter.

Any assistance would be gratefully accepted.

Probably more than I can handle. Best of luck.

That's sort of a "wow" editing request. That's worth at least $5,000 in editorial services in the paying marketplace--and over 200 hours of editing work by an experienced editor.

What he said.

Well I know it is a big project, but that's one reason I need an Editor, or a critical reader.

I am writing a series, that will carry the entire story, but will publish it in chapters over a long time.

Chapter 3 is important because it introduces the major 'hook' of the series.

The female lead is an Sex Ed Instructor and recruits the Male lead to join her in her as an assistant instructor.

Later
She con's him into providing 'private sessions' to women who for one reason or another need outside stimulation, and almost get's him sent up for prostitution.

He meets a widow lady with big tits and finds himself attracted to the widow, who consults the first female and confesses that she is not cut out to be celibate. The first female doesn't know that the widow wants the Male lead and there will be a couple of chapters of him trying to decide who he really wants.

Throw in a few chapters of the students exploring their sexuality and a little gun play and it is a big project!

I can help !

PM me...I may be able to edit 15,000 words in two days or so...

And it is still out.
Apparently some folks get in and find that the task is too demanding, or maybe they got a new toy for Xmas and let their promises slide.

So here I am with four chapters to edit and no reliable editor.

Can I get some help, please?

I put up my first stories without an editor and had the problems you might expect, homonyms, poor punctuation and Oopsies.

I finally had a reader complain so much that he agreed to edit for me and it was much better. I had a few H's and I believe I got better as time passed, but self editing is like self abuse, only not as satisfying.

Yeah! I got my first chapter back from editing!

Yes, all my poor punctuation and sloppy sentences were marked up and I have a few hours of fixing to do, but it is sure great to see that it didn't come back all bloody.
