Credit

Ok, I'm not new to the editing scene. I have edited many stories for literotica members. Recently I went and looked at the finished product on a few of the stories I edited. Much to my suprise I found nothing in my profile or on the story I had looked over. Am I just missing where it says I've edited or am I being robbed of credit? Granted it didn't need much editing, but I still took the time to read it and carefully look it over.

There is no automatic crediting of an author on the system. Credits are entered, or not, by the author prior to posting.

As can be seen from other threads on this board, not all editors wish to be credited, so I suggest that you negotiate this with the author at the time of editing.

I would hesitate to do that, as an author, without advance arrangements.

Crediting Editor

I noticed something similar myself. In my last story posted I had written a brief note to thank my editor but the note did not appear with the story. I didn't think it was too big of deal in my case because the editor I used had long disappeared by then, but I can certainly understand your point.
