Have you ever had a partner or lover who had same name as family member or parent? I meet a friend whose name was same as sister's and laughed to her as I said could never scream your name during sex. How did you handle the situation? Just my crazy thought for the day.

Yes, his name was the same was my Dad and brother's, and his last name was the same name as my son's.
During sexual times, or any time, it never bothered me at all.

so ~funny~ that you should ask--- as it just so happens, my friend's dad & I share the same name. it freaked him out I think more than he even told me... and in many ways, the more I get to know them, the more intriguing it is...I just have to say WOW

Yes I have. Once you get over that initial weirdness it is ok. My partner is too important to me to let it get in the way.

my younger brother's girlfriend has the same name as our sister, and has called me by that name when visiting more than once. :|
my other brother's girlfriend has the same name as our boss, and our sister has a boyfriend named Dick.

coincidence? i certainly hope so. otherwise, it's just twisted.

as an aside, i once called it off with a guy for no reason other than he had the same name as a previous ex.
