I have a straight jacket and a nice new place for you to live. Move out of my basement.

What is it with these kids, anyway?

I couldn't wait to get out on my own at 19.

I have friends with ectopic late 20's sloths in their basements.

Sloths in the basement are worse than bats in the belfry. I moved out at 18 too, I wanted my independence but I think culture has changed. They are use to doing what they want and having someone else pay their bills, so no hurry to get out.

I'll do it for you Rob.

You seem okay to me Lance but I'm a woman posing as a dodo bird on the Internet, so consider the source.

You know my son?

You do make a valid point Sean. I lived with lots of roommates, worked multiple jobs and went to school etc. it's not easy.

You know my son?

 Yes, I do. I say we get him while he's sleeping and move his bed to the yard.:rose:

I have a few simple and foolproof tips to turn a sloth into a productive adult.

Won't bore you with the deets, but step one is what I call "living on the right side of the clock".

They get up when you get up, get dressed, eat breakfast and leave the house every morning when you do.

No exceptions.

This cuts out the 3am laptop sessions and noon wake up time nonsense.

In order to be an adult, they have to live on the same side of the clock as the rest of us.

It also snaps them out of their little Emo fake depressions and teaches them some self confidence.
