This is feedback i just sent Circe! about her poem in the non-erotic section entitled Crazy at 13:
You can't know, Circe, how often i go back to read this poem, ESPECIALLY when i'm fighting with Kelsey (my almost 13 year old daughter). It offers me a measure of sanity when things are sliding insanely askitter between us. I know she's feeling more off-balance than am i right now. I know that our times of life are in direct opposition; she is just beginning to blossom, i am beginning perimenopause. It's a crazy time for both of us and your poem offers me a measure of reassurance, sometimes, that as nuts as i feel, she likely feels it even more.
This may be my favorite poem at Lit and one of the best, one of my favorites, from anywhere.
