Crash and burn (A sci-fi fantasy)

Kalahiri or Kala as she usually was called was graciously sprinting through the green forest alongside her older brother Miko. They run as fast as their strong legs and bodies let them. Their bodies were built for speed because speed was essential for survival on the planet of Sylvani. Kala and Miko are two of the several hundred natives that where living in the forests on the planet. Their people was the only humanoids on the planet.

Somehow their bodies had adapted to where they lived. Kala's clan was obviously most comfortable in green forests as Kala's skin was in a pale green color, while her hair was raven black that didn't do anything to cover her pointy ears. Her body is very athletic and at the same time very strong. She have a long tail as well. It almost reach the ground when she stand. The tail help with the balance and also a tool for others to read the mood she's in.

Now the tail stand rigid and tense out from her body as Kala and Miko rush toward the sign. The sign that something had happened. Kala and Miko had been the first to see the flaming fireball coming from space and crash in the forest. Kala had pestered Miko until he gave in to her to check it out. In all of Kala's eighteen years she had been able to get Miko do anything she wanted.

Kala's ears perk up and her eyes are wide open in fascinated fear as a humanoid in a burn stained silver colored suit come toward them. The humanoid drop to the knees just a few feet from Kala and the helmet on it's head drop to the ground.

"Is that female?" Kala whisper to her brother. Whatever it was id didn't look like her or her people.

Sunlight flickered through the path of the spaceship had made in the canopy of lush tree-life illuminated waves and curves of brilliant red hair. The only thing the humanoid female could seem do for a few minutes was sit on her knees, breathing heavily as if her oxygen had been disconnected as soon as the pod crashed.

A soft beeping sound was heard from her wrist, the last bit of technology that she had left besides the emergency pack the ship had spat out before it continued to burn. A weary hand batted at her wrist before she finally passed out from exhaustion, not having noticed the two beings standing nearby.

Kala and Miko stare at the female as she lie unmoving on the ground. Kala take a step toward the female but Miko stop her by grabbing her arm and a shake of his head.

"She's an outsider. Not like us." He won´t admit that the sight of this unknown being was scaring him.

"She might be dead." Kala reply and shake off his hand. Kala is more fascinated than scared. The pulse race fast in her chest as she move closer to the fallen female without taking her eyes from the red hair. Kala had never seen it's like.

"Stop, we call on the others." Miko was calling out to her.

Kala ignore him and don't stop until she stand beside the female. Holding her breath she lean down and touch the red hair with her fingers.

"It's so soft." She mumble and let her hand move down the females face to see if she would get a reaction.

 

[TyYu]

As Kala's fingers brushed over the female's face, a bit of soot and dirt was wiped away, revealing the pale skin beneath. The warm touch roused the female for a brief moment, her eyes fluttering open to reveal the sea blue hidden previously. A soft smile curved lightly chapped pink lips before she began to succumb to the exhaustion once again,

I must have died. Well Tyana, there could be worse places to end up than here....where-ever I am.

Kala find herself staring down in a pair of blue eyes that matched her own. So beautiful she think to herself before the strange female closed them again.

"She lives." Kala say to Miko who had dared to come a little closer.

"Leave her." Her brother say in a slightly nervous tone.

Kala sigh and shake her hed. She was to intrigued to leave this female. A fascinating creature.

Without thinking it over Kala lift up the female from the ground and with little effort slumps her over her shoulder. Kala and her brother start to walk through the trees once again.

 

[TyYu]

Soft giggles and murmurs slowly woke the redhead, blue eyes fluttering open to the sound of children watching her through the windows and door of the hut she had been placed in. "W...where am I? H...he...llo?"

She sat up gingerly, running her fingers through her hair as if to clear her mind and noticed her spacesuit was gone, leaving her in just her bindings and underwear. The bulky silver suit had hidden much, the strong limbs built up with sleek muscle combined with generous curves.

"She speak." The words came from a young girl and was directed at Kala. "I think she speak." The child narrow her eyes in a way that amuse Kala.

"Good, i look to her." Kala pats the child on her head and walk toward her hut where she had placed the female.

Stepping inside she stare at the females red hair once again. It was so beautiful and unlike anything she had seen before.

Finally she meet the blue gaze from her guest with her own blue eyes. Tentatively Kala move slightly closer. What was this creature? And why did it attract Kala's Fascination as it did. Not able to restrain her curiosity her hand and fingers touch the curls of her guests hair. Kala love the soft silkiness under her fingers and without knowing it a purr come from her throat.

"Um....excuse me?" Her hand came up to gently grasp the other female's wrist, drawing it away from the flame-colored curls, never looking away from the seemingly matching blue gaze.

"Where am I? And where are my clothes?" Her head tilted curiously as she took in the other female's appearance, "Who are you?"

Kala's pointy ears perked up as she hear the females voice. As her hand was removed from the curls she back away slightly with a frown. She don't understand the words, but the meaning get though their language difficulties.

"I am Kala." She say with her melodic voice and touch her own chest.

"Who are you?" She move closer again and place the palm of her hand against the females chest.

 

[TyYu]

She glanced down at the light green hand on her chest and sighed softly, placing her pale hand upon it, "Tyana....Tyana Upreen"

A tension seemed to build for a bit, broken by soft growling of her stomach. A gentle embarrassed laugh escaped the redhead, unsure of how to proceed. She had spent most of her life in the military, exploring new worlds and learning new languages. Never had the military found this place and it was by fluke that she had even crashed here.

"Tyana.... Upreen." Kala repeat slowly.

When her guests stomach growl Kala first smile and then laugh, showing off her sharp teeths.

"Food." She nod and let the hand on Tyana's chest fall down. Sticking out her head from the hut she order that some meat would be brought.

"Wont be long." She tell Tyana, not knowing how much she understand.

"This is so beautiful." She mumble and her hand once again touch Tyana's red hair. It feel so good between her fingers. Kala's tail swing from side to side with anticipation if Tyana would remove her hand again.

Tyana chuckled as she watched Kala call for something, hopefully food. As the other female reached for her hair once again, the redhead decided to let her play with the curls. Kala's fascination with the red hues reminded her of the attention she received from the ship's children. Red was uncommon among many of worlds and she had gotten a bit used to someone wanting to play with the waist-length curls.

Spotting what seemed as a knife on the floor next to her, Tyana smiled as she used a bit of twine nearby to hold a single lock of hair. Maybe her rescuer would like a gift. Moving slowly so to show she wasn't a threat, her hand curled around the knife and snipped off the intended curl.

Kala stare curiously as Tyana pick up a knife from the floor. When Tyana cut off a curl of her long hair Kala try to hide her excitement. Her tail swosh back and forth though, totally giving her away.

Still she try to pretend to not care what Tyana is doing.

The redhead smiled, the knife place back on the ground beside her as she watched the green tail swish behind her rescuer, "A gift for your help?" The curl was held out on the flat of her palm,

I just hope I'm not asking for your hand in bonding by doing this. The aroma of cooked meat began to waft through the door, her stomach growling in response.

Kala watch the outstretched hand with some anticipation. After just a moment of hesitation her fingers find the curl and she pick it up. With a happy smile she let the curl run through her fingers.

At that moment two of her people enter the hut. One carrying a plate of warm and newly cooked meat. The other one is her brother.

"Father want to see you." Miko Tell her.

Kala sigh dramatically and move to leave the hut. She turn to Tyna just before she walk out.

"Eat." She nod toward the plate that had been placed on the floor.

Tyana smiled and nodded in thanks to the ones who brought her meal. Her training had allowed her not to panic in this situation as most would do but the redhead still felt uneasy. Trying to push away the feeling, she began to nibble at the meat, tearing little pieces away at a time.
