Well I don't think you really did anything wrong, per se. I don't think anyone gets exactly what they want all the time and the vast majority of us don't most of the time.

The thing is as far as appreciating the gal behind the ad I think you need to go deeper than Craigslist because there's kind of a stigma to Craigslist. I think the dating apps are more likely to yield quality results, honestly. I think most people who look on CL kind of expect someone who's not going to have a lot going on and just go elsewhere. You may want to try Tinder or something like that. Now I don't use those apps to be honest so I can't tell you much about them but I do know women who have had some good experiences. Bad ones too, obviously, but some good as well.

Anyway, I hope you find what you're looking for. Hope that helps a little.
