For those of you looking to hook up with a same sex partner who have tried Craigs list, what has been your experience? Would you recommend it?

I've recently had two casual encounters off Craigslist, only one went well, but that wasn't the fault of the other participant - both were very nice. Though people in general seem to advise against going to Craigslist for sex. So it's probably a hit-and-miss thing. Other people have recommended squirt.org as an alternative to craigslist, though I haven't tried it yet.

I agree with them...the one here looks scary...more like a meat market for gay guys. I am a female but I just see some of the titles because I do a personals over all search. The titles on the m4m are so bad I cant believe someone would put that. Plus...with ours here they post who gave them a disease. I would be very carefull if you decide to do it. There could be some nice people but there could also be some freaks.

Ive had mostly positive experiences using CL. Youre always going to have the ones that flake on you, which happens more often than not. But the three or four guys I met through CL have worked out pretty well. Even posting ads Ive had pretty good luck. Ive never come across any crazies, no pun intended, but Im always worried about that one thats gonna hack me to pieces in some seedy motel. That being said, I really dont use CL that much, I have other resources that I use.

I wouldnt recommend it. Two weeks ago in my community a wife put an ad on Craigs List and a man responded and when he got there the husband shot and robbed him! just not worth it

Craigs List Warning: I strongly suggest never going to Craigslist for dating or hook-ups. One of my friends was drugged by a guy, at a normal bar on a normal date. Needless to say, I couldn't convince them to go to the cops about it. Which inherently means, that person is still out there on craiglist doing this to other people. Its horrible.

Yes, I agree that Craigs List is not the safest place to play around. But I will admit to a few meetings with hott men there. It was worth weeding thru all the azzholes to find a few regulars that enjoy me. my experience with craigs list has been a joke.
i don't understand why people make it so difficult, we had set up a casual encounter, and the person that showed up was nothing like the picture he presented, not that looks are everything, not only did he look different, but he acted like he really did not know what he wanted, and my husband did. his emails were really hot, so in all it was a let down.
