still a racist jackassJust in case there's any confusion, Deplorables love Cracker Barrel because their restaurants have had high-profile incidents wherein they've been accused of racial discrimination.
(They will vehemently deny this is the reason they love them.)![]()
Their food is good.I see their stock went woke too...The Cracker Barrel rebrand is tanking the companyās stock price. The price immediately dropped 10% after the announcement and rollout.
I never liked Cracker Barrel and guess what, I think their corporate rebranding is hilarious. They haven't learned a thing from Bud Lite, Target or Jaguar.....
The food isnāt nearly as good as Waffle House and you don't get the Waffle House entertainment factor either - instead you get a tacky gift shop tacked on! Why? I mean, why? The core Cracker Barrel clientele are senior citizens with RVs. Itās like Village Inn with a gift shop. The rebrand is a desperate attempt to attract new customers before their current ones all die of old age, which from the looks of the last time I wandered into one is gonna be real soon. Altho I admit it was a while ago when we were doing the road trip south to visit my aged parents and I was desperate for anything vaguely edible.
It wasn't a culinary experience I'd want to repeat, which seeing as I'm half-Chinese and Chinese eat anything, is, um, critical. LOL
Never mind. LIkely won't be an option for too much longer anyhow.

That was every restaurant. And hospital cafeteria. And mall. And synagogue!Thinking back to the days when you had to walk thru a cloud of toxic cigarette smoke to get to the no smoking section, separated by...nothing.![]()
Their food is good.
But, obviously you don't care about food
...the logo is the issue.
It tastes good.Hmmmmmmm. Define "good."
NeatI work on the dim sum comparison chart. If it's better than dim sum, it's good. Ice cream is better than dim sum. Frozen yogurt is better than dim sum. Rare steak is better than dim sum. CRacker Barrel is not better than dim sum.
But the logo is an issueThis is subjective, I know, and I will grant that some may find Cracker Barrel food good, but I suspect this is because they are not familiar with dim sum, which is the peak of Chinese culinary achievement and to which very little compares. Chateaubriand maybe, but little else. LOL
They obviously disagree.BTW I am not serious. Cracker Barrel ain't Bad.I just find the rebrandimg a stretch and completely unnecessary.
They obviously disagree.
YepThey do, and it's their business.
So you won't eat there again.I supect tho that they're alienatig their base without a target market to replace it. We'll see - the proof of the pudding is in the eating, after all.
Now I want to try dim sum.Hmmmmmmm. Define "good." I work on the dim sum comparison chart. If it's better than dim sum, it's good. Ice cream is better than dim sum. Frozen yogurt is better than dim sum. Rare steak is better than dim sum. CRacker Barrel is not better than dim sum.

I have not eaten out - not even fast food - in like...4 years. Maybe longer. I don't trust anything I did not prepare myself. Now I want to try dim sum.
I can't remember the last time I ate at a Cracker Barrel. It's hard to mess up burgers and fries.
Homemade is the way to go if you want complete control. It usually tastes better too. Plus there are some combos you will never find outside of your kitchen.I have not eaten out - not even fast food - in like...4 years. Maybe longer. I don't trust anything I did not prepare myself.
Because they served coloreds? After a couple of stops years ago while on the road I've since avoided the place when I travel.
