There is no 'us' vs 'them' is exactly my point. I get bristly any time I read any of the posters start that nonsense. It's all one site and we're all just members here. No special privileges for anyone.

And Rob is a smart guy who can actually back what he says. You may not agree with his politics but he isn't just posting his opinions and saying it is what it is because he says so. I don't get how you could even begin to compare him with cowslinger.

On that you are right. I dont dismiss robs opinions just because he has them or that I dont find the facts suport his opinions in much the way he thinks the facts dont support my opinions...last couple of days rob has been actually expressing opinions ...when he actually does that, his are as articulated as anyones...

There are days when he expresses not a single opinion in what now looks like "cowslinger mode". keep in mind though cowslinger got that from rob. He just looked at rob slingin shit and said "I can do that too!" and waded in with both hamfists.

So the comparison starts and ends in style of attack. But that is because cowslinger got that from rob.

Skiddles travels with that yapping little pack the same way.

Cowslinger though is ONLY in that mode when he is on the GB. WHen he cmes here it is only to pick a fight because, frankly I think it makes his dick hard. I am not saying that as hyperbole, he has stated how he really enjoys it. He honestly believes he "wins" each exchange. Cowslinger never enters a thread and offers a relevant opinion, his entire opinion is "you guys are STUPID and think you know SO much!!" Weird guy, frankly.

Skiddles is consistently an asshole. You don't see him dropping character and sucking up to people in one thread and then being an asshole to someone else. He doesn't bother me as much as some others here.

I cannot comment on cowslinger's tumescence over his GB posts, only that it can get irksome when someone enters a discussion sounding thoroughly exasperated with everyone and resorting to ridicule without ever attempting to engage.

I troll the political threads now and then too and amuse myself by posting silly remarks but I recognize my posts for what they are and don't pretend like I'm having an actual discussion when I indulge in that kind of behaviour.

Mostly I see it as calculated. Like how Cowslinger felt he could be a member of two separate firewalled forums. The GB where he is mr. macho touch guy swingin' dick, and the playground where he acts a bit obsequeous with teh ladeez.

Rob does that to on a microcosm. He'll smooze in the blurt thread or cheerfully chat up laurel about the somber problems of no new, interesting blood in the GB as if his antics arent a part of that.

I don't do the official blurt threads so maybe that's why I'm missing out. But considering all the years he's been here wouldn't it make sense for him to exchange pleasantries with posters he interacts with regularly in a non-confrontational situation?

I suspect there were multiple complaints on the grounds of trolling (even though most of the PG regulars in the thread seemed more amused than anything).
