How long does it survive on my cell phone????????

ETA.........I read the article. Damn!

that's why handwashing and surface cleansing is so important.

people are tired of inconvenience. we're a soft bunch. the virus doesn't get tired, or bored as we can see by the ever-climbing infection numbers. just because people are 'so over it' doesn't mean the danger's gone away; it does mean that a lot of people who were doing all the right things at the start have now become almost numb to the enormity of the numbers and have grown more relaxed in their approach to the basics.

last week, i sent an email to his ma'am's church about their falling back on safety restrictions during services. we saw the video... little social distancing, a lot fewer masks; the reply i got back was polite but said 'the very few are becoming less on point about the safety measures'. well it wasn't just a few, and surely it's up to the pastor to speak out from his pulpit telling people to do what they need to in order to keep the church open for services! what was so hurtful to watch was how many very elderly, often clearly compromised by comorbidities, were the worst offenders. :(

any religious leader, anyone with a soapbox to be heard from, should be advocating the care we should all be taking of our society's health.
