Governors are responsible for their own states. As much as you hate Trump and need to blame him for acorns falling out of trees governors acting within the authority of their state constitutions are responsible for their citizens. Do you not have confidence in your governor?

Maybe the Trump telling his assholes to ignore their governors and not wear masks or social distance is a problem. Maybe your dumb ass militias trying to kidnap governors and right wing sheriffs saying it's okay is the problem. Maybe Trump never taking it seriously is the problem. Maybe Trump not giving a fuck for anyone but himself is the problem. Maybe Republicans ignoring medical experts is the problem. Maybe Trump having to destroy the US because Putin will poison him otherwise is the problem...
 
I guess that our president promoting violence against our governors is a good example that he will give our governors the support when they need it. He has already stated that he has no responsibility in the 230,000 deaths. We might as well have an acorn in the WH.

Governor Cuomo laid it out very clearly in an interview with Stephen Colbert; Trump's greatest blunder was his failure to recognize the threat of Covid coming from Europe. His dismantling of America's foreign service might have had something to do with that.

The fact that 40,000 people were allowed to travel to the U.S. from China AFTER his "travel ban" is just icing on his failure cake.

His lack of leadership on role modeling CDC guidelines has had the predictable effect.

Trump is a bigger disaster than Covid.

Well, See I started wearing a Mask and taking precautions a couple of months before they were called for because, when the shit show stops YOU are responsible for Yourself and your family protection from whatever.
I get my own information and make my own decisions because it is MY ASS.

i'm happy to hear that you've taken the precautions all decent people should to protect others from the spread of this pandemic. i saw your company also behaves in a socially responsible, caring manner.

now if only all the other selfish bastards would do the same. but they don't. they won't. but a lot of them would if only trump told them to... and he refuses to do so. therefore, while a mandate should not be necessary it has come to the point where it probably is. trump supporters at his rallies believe every word out of his mouth, and if he would have encouraged the right moves from the early days and wasn't still crowding unmasked masses together without social distancing and mocking the experts by calling them idiots? there's no doubt the usa case numbers would have been dramatically reduced.
