Covered or uncovered glans?

I'm uncircumcised and enjoy how I can choose to be either covered up or uncovered when the mood takes me, and experience a world of different sensation if I want. I generally go back to covering up when the sensations get too strong and sometimes become irritating. But 99% of the time I enjoy the completely different experience of my glans being continually "awake".

But I am intrigued by what would happen were I to keep myself uncovered long-term. My online searches bring up guys talking of their glans drying out and hardening somewhat with some loss of sensation. And I find about equal numbers of guys loving and regretting having gone the extra mile and undergone circumcision.
I don't want to go for surgery, but I want to know how much my glans would recover to its original state after a prolonged period of uncovering. So if any of you cocks out there have stayed uncovered for say, a month or longer, and then gone back to covering up, how did your glans recover? Are you back to where you started? Do you regret the exercise? Will I have to change my user name?

I have gone uncovered long term and have absolutely no regrets. If you leave the foreskin pulled back long term, the glans gets used to being exposed and keratinizes over time, which gives you the look and feel of a circumcised penis, just with a bunched up foreskin behind the head. I grew up in the U. S. where almost everyone is circumcised, so I was the only person I knew with a foreskin for the longest time. I originally started pulling back to fit in, and I have come to enjoy it a lot

I'm uncut and love it. I have tried keeping the foreskin pulled back for a week or two. It's not that easy to accomplish snce it wants to roll forward, especially if your frenum is intact. Mine was removed years ago so it's easy to pull back. I sometimes use a cock ring on a cord to keep the foreskin back.
It does get tougher and loses some sensation. Leaving it covered again, , it returns to normal.
I almost always keep the glans uncovered for masturbation. During sex it alternates between covered and bare. Obviously, the more you stimulate it the less sensitive it will be. During times of very little sexual activity the glans becomes so sensitive that it's almost painful to touch, and I have trouble holding back.

I am uncut but must say as much as I would like to go uncovered for a while I cant. My skin just takes control and does what it wants to do. I have looked a bit deeper, and am interested in what I read about what is called a "loose" circumcision. This is where the foreskin only just covers the glans, or maybe not quite all of it, when flaccid. When erect, it is very similar to a cut cock. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me.

Anyone of you cock-owners have any experience of this? Or mid/late-life circumcision in general?

I’m uncut and glad I am. Other than masturbation and sex I hate the sensation when the foreskin is pulled back. I don’t find it stimulating at all, it just ranges from irritating to outright painful so the turtleneck stays up.
