Courageous Editor Wanted

I have written a very long story -- more than fifteen thousand words. The grammar and spelling should be okay, but I think I need a little help with the strucure.

But most importantly, I want to find an editor who is confident enough to give me advice about the length of the story. Should I trim the story line and make it shorter? Or should I add details and make the extended story more interesting and even longer?

Who would like to help me?

I had waited a while but hadn't heard from anyone. I should have been more patient, since I received a couple of offers for help a day or two after I submitted my story.

The good news is that I submitted the first part of the story and left the ending undone. I've written it already, and could still use help deciding if it is appropriate.
