Could you sing for your supper?

After seeing a street person banging on a makeshift drum set for money, it made me wonder about everyone's creative side.

Not that I am proposing a Lit talent show (God forbid!) ;) but what talents do you have? I am guessing that since this is a literary site, there are probably lots of creative writers and thinkers here.

I have seen demonstrations of some of your marvelous artistic abilities. Drawing, photography, jewelry making.

I sing, dance and play several musical instruments but I can't draw a thing. What are you good at? It doesn't necessarily have to be considered traditional. (Yes, for those who are wondering, it CAN be of a sexual nature) ;)

Flower arranging, shuffleboard, touch football. You get the drift. Please share.

Yep...I could sing for my dinner.

Especially if the restaurant was full cause everyone'd run out screaming and I could have an all you can eat buffet:) .

I paint ceramics and sew. I've attempted to draw and paint but I don't think I'm that good at it. I've been told I can sing, I'm not sure on that one.

I can sing....
I can't dance
I can draw a little
I can write when I get inspired....

certain songs...
anything Nine Inch Nails, pretty much..

I can sing
I can dance (From ballet to modern)
I can draw
I can even write when I'm in the mood. :)

i can beat most anybody in a fight with lightsabers! does that help?

I like to sing,
I like to dance,
I like to play in the front of my pants...

Vance can't dance but he steal your money...

I'm learning the guitar....

I'm a decent soccer player.....with an eye on playing semi-professionally next year.

I can't sing for nuts, let alone money :D

This sure is a sedate and tame crowd! With 6 of us proclaiming to be singers/dancers we could start a musical group ~ we could call ourselves The Sex-a genarians ??? :)

I have to say I am disappointed. I was waiting for someone to come forward with tales of being an expert in something exotic. Like shearing cashmere goats and yodeling at the same time.

Or spinning plates. Or cooking an all green menu for dinner. Ain't there anybody out there with unusual talents?

Um, I can lay on my stomach and touch my toes to my forehead over my back. Does that count?

I can sing, play flute, arrange flowers, bake bread from scratch, and best of all...

get the complete cooperation of a toddler :D

Only if you can recite the Canterbury Tales in Esperanto while doing so.

Although I am sure you would get a big round of applause from all the men here just for this display of physical dexterity. Heck, I'd even like to see it! :)

I can say supercalifragilisticexpialadocious backwards, but that's about as literary as I'm getting in that position.

I can make arrangements with dried flowers, etc.......I make some great Christmas decorations and I can make bows.

I also dance extremely well. I used to dance competitively in my youth and was in some dancing shows. I can still kick my leg above my head although I last time I about took out my lungs!

Ooh! That reminds me - I can kick very high. I once gave myself a bloody nose with my knee.

No singing here,,, not even in the shower

hum a little but even that is off key,,,

Reckon I'd waste away to nothing ( and that'd be a lot of wasting ) if I had to depend on my voice.

Now, I can design you a log house or Italian Manse if you'd like,,, and then, by cracky, I could build it and most of the furniture to fill it.

So, I'm not totally worthless, not yet anyhow,,,

I'll take an Italian Manse, CW. I think creative building is a great talent.

I can, and have, sung for my supper. Sang for my degree, too.

Dancing? Well, let's say I can move in rhythm pretty well. I also love to be in plays--comedies, preferably.

Oh, yeah! I was in a musical once where I had to sing and twirl a baton while on roller skates...

I can also grow the prettiest herb garden you've ever seen--anybody need some basil?

If that's Starlight Express, I'm going to giggle myself all the way to work today. Jk :D

I can draw some Anime.. been working on it.
I sing and dance.
I write.
I can come up with impromptu poetry. (I swear! Gimme a topic (preferably silly) and I can rhyme it!)
I dance (modern dance and 1940's Swing Dance).
I play a little piano and guitar.
I run.
And I can drink a glass of water upside down while doing the "Electric Slide" movements with my feet.

Does that count?
