Could you give an Iota?

10AM Update shows Iota crossing over to the Pacific as a Depression, but not indicating if there will be enough to regenerate there.

Now a Cat 4 storm on nearly the identical track of Eta. Two Cat 4s in the same place in less than a month has gotta suck major eggs.

Winds are now stated at 155MPH. Hurricane Hunters are nearing the core. Their data could bump it to 156 or more which is Cat 5.

By 06:00 UTC on November 16, hurricane hunters discovered that Iota had become a high-end Category 3 hurricane.[502] They also found intense lightning in Iota's southwest eyewall along with hail, which is extremely rare for a hurricane.[503][504][505] Just 40 minutes later, at 06:40 UTC, Iota reached Category 4 intensity.[506] Less than 9 hours later, at 15:00nbsp;UTC, Iota reached Category 5 intensity with winds of 160mph and a pressure of 917mb.[507]. This was the second time in recorded history that a category 5 hurricane occurred in November, the other hurricane being the 1932 Cuba hurricane.

Category 4 hurricanes in mid-November seem pretty unusual! But I'm positive it has nothing whatsoever to do with wider climate trends.
