A little guiadance from our friends in Britain would be appreciated:

Could Nigel Farage become prime minister with the Brexit Party?

Martine Berg OlsenMonday 27 May 2019 9:58 am

The former Ukip leader has called his European elections 2019 results ‘one hell of an achievement’ after the Brexit Party secured a majority with 31.7 per cent of the votes in the UK. But could Nigel Farage become prime minister?

He told Good Morning Britain during his glory rounds this morning: ‘When people woke up on March 30 this year, and realised we hadn’t left the European Union, that’s when in large numbers they became ready to vote for a different party.

‘The Brexit Party is only six weeks old, think about it that context, this one hell of an achievement.

‘I would say this looking ahead, the next date we are supposed to leave on is October 31, and that date will become a bigger and bigger factor in people’s minds as these next five months go by.

It took a while, but Putin's Revenge for the West breaking up the USSR is paying off nicely.

The EU and NATO plus whatever, nice start.

Farage as PM?

Technically - yes, if in future the BREXIT Party secures enough votes to form a Government in Westminster. Realistically - No!

When you asked this same question a few years ago I answered with a resolute no….I still think it extremely unlikely but we’re living though rather strange times.

You shouldn’t read too much into the European elections, they’re fairly pointless and have no real impact on domestic politics. That said, the result is a good indication of the debacle both major parties are making of the whole Brexit process; hopefully it will focus minds.

Woof!

technically - yes.

realistically - yes (if they can field enough candidates.

Thanks to the shithouse david cameron the UK is now fucked due to rightwing dickhead brexiters having the upperhand. all you hear from the cunts is that the people voted for brexit. in part true - but based on farages lies and some of their own racist views.

A serious finacial advisor once said that when the far right begin to rise, avoid money and start saving gold.

even angela merkel is warning of the rise of evil forces in europe

all farrage will be able to deliver as a pm (if the ongoing insanity permits him to rise that far) is a hard brexit. how many of his supporters will still be his supporters when that reality hits home is another matter.

Both sides lied exponentially....you know that.

That's the thing though....you listen to a large section of Brexiters and a hard (no deal) Brexit is what they actually want, the consequences be damn.

It seems that won't change until they lose their job and are in a soup kitchen queue.

And Angela is reaping what she has sown.

Woof!

Who knows what the result will be a this point; perhaps no deal might be the only way forward......but the risks are huge and the only thing we can be sure of is that it will be the normal "John the plumber" who pays the price if it does go wrong and not Nige and his ilk!

to an extent, agreed. BUT thats what politicians do, politics is about perception - most of the time... suddenly though it could get very real for lots a people in ways they cant grasp or aportion blame to.

also, most brexiters like the thought of anything with the word 'hard' in it. they go all rambo / phil mitchell.

Hobbit has a better chance of being PM than Farage. In fact Hobbit with Rees Mogg as Chancellor could be pretty good.:)

Personally I think that Boris Johnson is the worst possible outcome. A totally amoral personality without a shred of integrity.

But with May discredited it has to be a Brexiteer in charge. Raab looks the most qualified at this stage.

Incidentally, is there any reason why Rees Mogg didn't put his hand up? Objectionable to many perhaps, but at least he has a brain.

No, the worst possible outcome is Esther McVey. She's worse than amoral, she's borderline evil. There's a screw loose in that one.

Hmm, I didn't know much about her so I read her Bio. Pretty bad. But anyone who voluntarily partners Philip Davies is unfit for office of any description.

Recently when I made a trip to London, a journalist friend joked that she regularly played the "Barnardo's child" card for her advantage. He claimed in fact that she was thrown out of Barnardo's for bullying!

Mebbe he wasn't joking.

She does. She was a baby, she won't remember the experience, but she reminds people of how terribly disadvantaged she was whenever she's accused of being heartless and cruel. She's not dumb.
