Corruption of the Digidestined

There's a new evil in the digital world, and it is once again a human. Using the crest of corruption, she is corrupting the digidestined one at a time. Will they be able to stick to their true crests and defeat her?



OOC; This idea came to me in a dream where Davis's Crest of Ambition was corrupted into the crest of lust, and he raped Takari. It doesn't have to go that far, but still.....

Yah. Ken failed to destroy the chosen children, and wormon sacrificed himself to help them win, which made ken realize that he was originally good and kind (he got the crest of kindness) and as such, went home to find his heart. When he did as such, he went to the digital world to independantly destroy the evil digimon that were created out of controll spires

Ah, that is how far behind I am in the series. He is still the Digimon Emperor in the series that I am watching but now that it has been cleared up that is cool.

I have a question, I was watching Digimon the other day, and I saw an episode where Greymon digivolved into Skullgreymon. They said on the episode it was a screwed up digivolve, but if it was so screwed up, why did he become such a powerful digimon. I thought Skullgreymon would be an awesome digimon to have at your disposal.
Is that way of digivolving wrong, or can it be used on other digimon, or what? I am just looking for some answers... is all.
If this is still an actual thread, I wouldn't mind doing Joe. He's the rational type... just like me (dry cough).

I think that that's a dark digivolve but I'm not sure, it happened once before with Tai but I'm not sure though.

That's an excelent point to bring up for this thread.

Greymon can digivolve into Metalgreymon. However, when a digimon digivolves for corrupt reasons, his form becomes corrupted, this he became Skullgreymon. Originally, he became skullgreymon because Tie forced him to digivolve. Only a voluntary digivolve created a proper ultimate digimon.

Ken eventually makes greymon digivolve to metalgreymon, but that's because he managed to completely controll agumon's programming, but the dark spirals are another concept all together.

FYI, Corrupt digivolvein will be a staple here. What with the digidestined becoming corrupt, Angemon will becom Fallenangemon, Garrurumon will becom vampyrurumon, Ikakumon Seadragomon, Exveemon Negamon, etc....

and as it is now, Ken is good, he went through a long spell of trying to become good again, find his good side, he has his crest, i don't remember what it is right now, he got it when wormon died. He went back into the digital world, and wormon was reborn, so right now he is a good guy along with the rest of them, and there is a new evil, i don't remember who it is, but there is a new evil. And it is much more powerful then all of the old guys combinded. and there is a like tiny angemon, i think it goes with angemon, but i don't remember its name, it could also go with Joe, it is like aquaangemon or somethen like that...Corrupt is like the 5 evil digimons and all that, if they were kind and all they would digivolve good, if they are bad or forced for the wrong reason, not for good, then they go to the evil side of it. There is a downfall for everything, Corrupt is just the bad side of digivolving. Another thing, waimon is a whale, i don't think davis's digimon digivolves to that. and its Sora, not Zora.

IC; "Izzy, what is it!" Asked tie, when faced with the newest biproduct digimon of a control spire.

"This is known as Nekomon. The champion level digimon may look like Gatomon, but be wary, she's not. Her Nekoblast and penetrate claw are feered even by ultimates."

"Well comeon Agumon. We havn't time for a lengthy battle with this imposter. Do your thing!"

"Agumon Warp Digivolve to! Wargreymon!

Wargreymon used his terraforce punch, which effectively deleted Nekomon. What few noticed was Wargreymon's normally organge skin was bveginning to look purple, and the crest of courege on his back failed to glow as effectively. Tie noticed it, but befor he could question wargreymon, he digivolved back to agumon and they ended the adventuring for the day.

well then, i'll be Izzy and Davis


IC: IZZY: we had broken up into several teams, trying to ride of the control spires, Myself and Tai were in a group, and we had just gotten ride of another imposter digimon. I looked at agumon, "are you ok? that last digivolve seemed different...you didn't look the same" Tai looked at me "you noticed too?" "yeah...but i don't know what caused it"

Davis: I was stuck with Ken, we used to be mortal enemies, but he seemed ok now. We came up upon a digimon that looked like rabits, i didn't know what they were, but veemon quickly digivolve to Xveemon, and take care of them before they tried to attack us, there were alot of them but they were no match. Now...the question was, can Veemon warpdigivolve...

 

[Angelus]

TK stood there and watched as the control spire fell to the ground with a crash. This was getting too easy, he thought as he looked around at the rest of the group. Just then he noticed Kari's face and turned to see Angemon standing there but it wasn't the normal Angemon.

"Angemon, what are you doing here good friend?"
"Why do you think I am here you fool, we have destroyed a spire so I decided to show up."
TK looked at Angemon in shock and said, "What did you say Angemon, and why are you so dark?"
"I- I don't know TK, please help me," Angemon said before he landed on the ground and changed into Patomon.

"Gomamon, do you see anything?"
Gomamon looked back at him, "Nothing except the spire Joe."
Joe sighed, "I know, but your a digimon, can't you see right up to the spire or something."
"I'm sorry Joe, I can't."
Joe sighed, "Well, let's hurry up. We can get this over with, and find the others."
They hurried past a giant hill, the spire was still a ways away, but they would get there soon enough. He just hoped seperating the group wasn't a big mistake, like he had told everyone earlier.
"I just have a bad feeling about this," he said, walking down the path.
"Joe, you have a bad feeling about everything."
"Yeah, and every time I was right."
They continued walking.

 

[Cryo]

The day was over. Everyone fell back through their computer to their homes. "Well, another successfull day. We should be wiping out these control spires in no time!" Tai Gave a yawn and climbed into his top bunk.
"I don't know tai, Something weird is happening. After we destroyed our spire, Angemon showed up and started talking weird, almost evil."
"It's just your imagination Kari. Go to bed and we can destroy some more digimon imposters in the morning."
"Now Tai, you know I don't like destroying anything. Like my crest, all life is precious to me." as she said that, her crest began to glow. (ornamental ones were created by Jennai for the original digidestened) "Besides, Angemon looked different too. He didn't glow like he used to, and I think his feathers were turning grey." This made Taichi think.
"Well, now that you mention it, Wargreymon had some purple skin today. I thought he was getting sick."
"But I'm Perfectly Healthy! At least I feel healthy" said Agumon, from under the covers.
"Now why did you warp digivolve?" asked Gatomon. "I can defeat these imposters without even digivolving."
"That is an excelent question tai. You arn't usually one to overdo a situation." said kari.
"Hmmm... I don't know. Let's ask Izzy in the morning!"

 

[Angelus]

TK sat there and looked at Patomon who was busy eating his food and said, "What happened to you in the Digital World. You didn't act like yourself."

"I don't know friend TK. I just suddenly changed into Angemon and felt different. I can't explain it but I wasn't myself," Patomon said, spraying bits of food everywher.

TK looked at Patomon, "Oh jeez, could you please talk with your mouth closed next time."

Patomon laughed at that then went back to eating his food at the same time that TK decided that he was going to go and see Izzy because if anyone could figure out what was going on it would be him.

I was going over the pictures i had of WarGreymon, he was different, and i couldn't figure out why. I looked at the map again of where the Control Spires where. We didn't know the real base of the mirrormons but i figured it was at the base where a larger than normal spire was. Just then i heard a nock at my bedroom door, my mom said "Izzy, a friend of yours is here, he says his name is T.K." i looked at the door, i wonder why T.K. was here, "Ok, come on in T.K." i said as he walked in with patamon.

 

[Angelus]

TK walked into Izzy's room and looked at him, "Izzy, I had a problem with Angemon today. He digivolved without me asking and he looked different, almost black. What is going on with him?"

TK knew that he had come to the right person because if anyone knew what was going on with the digimon then it would be Izzy.

"i'm not that sure T.K., look at this though" i said pointing to the screen of my computer "Wargreymon did the same thing...and he also changed color, i don't know whats happening. I mean Tantomon didn't digivolve, just Agumon, and he was also darker...only thing that could come to mind is that the mirrormon did something...or a virus of some sort...but agumon seems to be in some of the best health i have seen him..." i looked back at him, he looked at the picture "that looks almost just like Angemon..." I nodded..."maybe it is a virus...i should try to see if it happened anywhere else in the digiworld, maybe then we could figure it out, or maybe ask some of our allies...but i really just don't know...its quiet perplezing to me though"

 

[Cryo]

Tai couldn't sleep, so he went onto his computer. He was suprized to see that Izzy was online, so sent him an e-mail.

-Izzy, Have you figured out the problem? or is it my imagination?

-Tai, I'm working on it now with T.K. I am still stumped though. Need more data. Talk to you later
