This story is about a set of fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, who have been on opposite sides of the country for the past nine months at their respective colleges, separated for the first time in their lives.

While they were away from home and each other, they have changed significantly.

Christian had always had music on his mind, but now he had a peculiar blend of drugs on his mind too. Marijuana, cocaine, opium, cigarettes and booze... he's been enjoying in moderation, only binging a couple times, unlike many of his classmates. He has become a rather obsessive-compulsive musician, to the detriment of some of his classroom responsibilities...

Christina had always been connected to the earth, and once away from home that passion led her to the Wiccan arts. She had always been straight, at least she had always been attracted to boys in high school... but she spent most of her freshman year at college like her brother did: fucking girls...

Now they are coming home for summer vacation. They are wealthy; their parents high-powered business people, who will spend most of the summer not at home with their children but travelling across the globe, sending home postcards and gifts and only occasionally coming home at all. When they first arrive home, both Mom and Dad are home. They will be gone in three days.

They have a large suburban house with a huge stretch of wooded property, including a small spring-fed lake. They have an in ground pool and hot tub behind the house, in a large, fenced-in patio area which also houses an open shower, a sauna/steamroom, and a small fully-stocked bar.

Christina

Christina walked into the house. It was large and somewhat empty. It always had but still it was home. She set her bags down in the ahllway and took a look in the mirror. she mad a quick comparison of herself now to the picture that was hun next to the hallway mirror. Nine months had changed her quite a bit. In the picture she was a but chubby but still attractive. Her face had been a bit pock marked and her hair a brown hair a bit dull and mousy. Her glasses did not help her looks at all.

she turned back to the mirror to check her looks. Her face had cleared up due to her new use of birth control. She had switched out her geeky glasses for contacts. Her hair was much longer now but now had a few black streaks though it which accented the length.

How the times had change. She wondered how her brother had changed. He was the closest to her. She swore that many a times she could hear his thoughts.

Christina picked up her bags and made her way up the curved staircase to her room. She flopped down on her bed and let out a sigh. IT hadn't changed one bit.

Christian

Christian got off the plane, got his luggage, and couldn't help but smirk as he hailed a cab outside the terminal. He hated flying, and he especially hated flying with his stash of goodies hidden away in his carry-on. But it had all gone undetected, and now he was free, and on his way home. He hadn't been home since he'd left for school last September. He hadn't seen Christina in just as long, either. There had been no Christmas or Thanksgiving at home.

He only had a couple of bags and a solid black acoustic guitar case. He loaded them into the trunk of the cab and was dropped off at the driveway an hour later. He carried his stuff up the walk and opened the front door with his key. The place seemed empty; mom and dad were definitely out, still at work probably. He noticed that there was a light on upstairs. She must have beat him home.

He dropped his bags and called up the stairs: "Chris!" He'd been looking forward to seeing her again for months. Being apart had been a strange experience, as they had always been close. Christian had changed a lot: he'd grown a couple of inches and added some muscle to his once-skinny frame, he'd let his hair grow out, and it was long enough now to put in a tail, but he let the curly brown locks fall free.

Christina had started to doze when the sound of the front door opening awoke her. Her heart began to race at both the fear and excitement of someone entering the house.

"Chris!" She heard her brother's voice echo up the stairs. She sat up with a jolt. He had decided to come home after all. She had thought that phone call was just a dream. Christian sounded like he was having so much fun at school and would never come home.

"I'm here." Che called out as she made her way out of the bedroom.

She stopped at the the top of the stairs and looked down.

He had changed a lot as well. He looked good.

Quickly she reclaimed her composure and smoothed out her white wrinkle skirt and straightened her black racer back tank top before starting down the stairs.

"Wow.! Someone grew up a bit. Your looking good" She stopped about halfway down the stairs and leaned over the banister.

"You're looking good," she said to him. He smiled at that, and watched her come down the stairs. He blinked. She looked really good, too. Her skin was clear, she had lost some weight but wasn't super-skinny like so many dumb bitches he had dated in San Francisco. She looked healthy. When she leaned over the railing, his eyes couldn't help but take in the outline of her full breasts pressing against the fabric of her tight tank top.

"You look great, sis," Christian said. He took a couple steps up towards her. "I like what you've done with your hair," he said, smiling at her and now standing on the step below her, and they hugged. He squeezed her against him in his strong arms. He didn't think about it at all, but he really enjoyed the way her breasts pressed into his chest a little too much.

"Know when Mom and Dad are gonna be home?" he asked finally, when they pulled away from each other.

She leaned into his hug. the warmth of his body felt good after being alone for the past few day while she was getting ready for the trip.

they pulled away from each other.

"Know when Mom and Dad are gonna be home?"

"Um..Yah.. I got a call from them yesterday. They won't be home for a while. you know, another one of their 'spur of the moment' trips'."

She picked up ne of his bags.

"Looks like we got the place to ourselves. Here let me help you unpack."

She started to take his bag up the stairs

"So how was California. I get a whole sense of partying from your spirit and energy."

"So how was California? I get a whole sense of partying from your spirit and energy."

"I think the California sun has been good to me," he said

Christian picked up his guitar case and his other bag and followed his twin sister up the stairs. He shook his head, pushing away thoughts of how nice her ass looked now. She's your sister, he mentally slapped himself. The hell is wrong with you?

She opened the door to his room and he followed her in. It was just like it had been when he left. He flipped on the light and set his guitar and bag down on the bed. He looked around. It was the same as it had been, but it felt like it belonged to a totally different person. This didn't really feel like home anymore.

Except for her. Christina made it feel like home, but she could do that anywhere.

"There were some good parties, though. But I wouldn't say that's what I'm all about these days." He unzipped one of his bags and started pulling out some blue jeans. "But I do like to have a good time. But what about you? You look really great, Chris."

She smiled at his compliment.

"You look good too."

"There is not much about me." She set the bag on the floor in the corner.

"Oh, I almost forgot. I have a little something for you" She ran out of his room and next door to her's. Christina went into her backpack and pulled out a small metal pentacle on a chain.

Quickly she dashed back into his room.

"Here" She held it out letting it dangle from her fingers.

"I found it in an occult shop when I visited Salem over the winter break. It's for protection."

Christian took the offered pendant and held it up by the chain. "Thanks," he said, recognizing it immediately as a pagan charm. This was something he'd definitely have to hide from mom and dad; their orthodox christianity certainly would never permit such a flagrant display of paganism... of course, they'd be gone for a few days. He put it over his head and let the pentacle fall against his chest.

He started rifling through one of his bags. He had something for her, as well, but he couldn't remember where he put it. He turned his head and looked at her.

"But, tell me, what do I need protecting from?"

She smiled as he immediately put the pendant on.

Christina took a seat on his bed pulling her legs up and crossing them. She adjusted the skirt so that it draped over them and down the bed a bit.

She watched his movements as he began to rummage though his bags.

"But, tell me, what do I need protecting from?"

"I don't know but it's always good to have a bit of extra. Besides I though it would suit you. and it really does look good."

She lay back on the bed. She hadn't realized what a long day it was trying to get back home.

"Man I could use a drink...or something" she muttered under her breath.

She tucked her arms under her head to prop herself up a bit.

"So Christian...Whatcha lookin' for?"

"Well, I got something for you, too, and its in here somewhere but I can't remember where I put it. I'll find it later. I totally need a drink, too. This'll be just like old times, let's raid the bar down by the pool," I said, still looking through my bags.

"I had such a long flight today. You know I had two layovers? It was ridiculous. And one was in Kansas City, and I had to change planes, and that's the worst fucking airport in the country." I dug a bit further into my bag, and found one thing I was looking for, a little something from my stash to take the edge off. I opened it and pulled out a fat joint and closed it again.

"I might as well be straight with you... I've been smoking a lot of pot since I got to college. A lot more than we ever did in high school. The bud in Cali is just so damn good!"

"I might as well be straight with you... I've been smoking a lot of pot since I got to college. A lot more than we ever did in high school. The bud in Cali is just so damn good!"

"I've moved on to other things than that, but I'll partake if your offering."

She sat up with so quickly it made the room spin.

"Whoa..." She stood and braced herself against her brother.

"Let's get outside. It's too nice to be inside. The winters are so horrible back east."

They exited his room and began to pass hers.

"Wait a moment. I've got something to bring down as well."

She rushed into her room and quickly grabbed a mall bag of cubenzies from the hidden compartment in her bad. She had mostly used them in her vision quest but thought that they might be fun.

"All right...lets go...lead the way."
