Correcting subjects

How does the thread starter correct a word in the subject line once the thread has been posted? I have tried various methods but I am always blocked by a message that says 'no post specified'.

How does the thread starter correct a word in the subject line once the thread has been posted? I have tried various methods but I am always blocked by a message that says 'no post specified'.

The title of a post can't be edited, unless Laurel might be able to correct it.

The title as originally posted is one of the keys that the software uses to indentify the thread for searches and the like. Changing it might cause problems with the database.

Correcting your username is also beyond the capabilities of the BB software because it's the key that identifies you.
