Correcting a rejected story

I'd like to correct, edit my own rejected story but cannot find it.

You don't have a copy of what you submitted? Hmm..

Did the editor(s) tell you why the story was rejected? Assuming so, you could go back to your original text and change whatever was objectionable, and resubmit.

If there's a better way, maybe someone here knows it.

How did you submit your story? Using your computer? Your phone? Via e-mail? If it was through Lit's usual portal on a computer (or even if you didn't), navigate to your "My Home" page, find "Works" in the left sidebar, which will bring you to your "My Stories" page. This has four buttons near the top: Published, Drafts, Pending, and Sent Back. Your rejected story should be accessible through the "Sent Back" button.
