Is it really true that large multinational corporations actually have more political power than the government?

Nope. But they have a lot of friends in government, so it amounts to the same thing.

Yes, and the GOP and the DNC like it that way.

FYP.

One only need look at the donor lists of both "sides" to see that with regards to corporatism the are equally complicit.

Partisan statements to the contrary are silly. Corporations lost none of the bought and paid for access and influence when the Democrats controlled both houses and the Presidency. Depending on the corporation, some of them such as the insurance companies got unprecedented assistance and influence.

The DNC has a near monopoly on support from ambulance-chasers like King Orfeo in the trial lawyers association but all legislation from the DNC or the GOP is heavily massaged by lobbyists who are actually corporate lawyers or former legislators that have law degrees and are acting to advance the best interest of their corporate employers.

We invaded a third world middle eastern country (Iraq) and killed over one million human beings for oil profits, weapons sales, and defense contracts.

Who do you think is in charge of our government?

Do you think that they have your interests at heart?

Only with rose colored glass's on homie.

But I'll offer you the chance to say there is absolutely no difference at all between the two so I can come back and beat you right the fuck outta this thread with that quote.

So declare them the same or admit the fact that they are both playing the same game (get money) is where the similarities end. Because how they play and what they are playing for are not the same and we all know it.

Of course it is about campaign money. A politician's main job is to cling to power so he can provide favors to his donors. Doesn't matter what those favors are. It is all corrupt.

Not really, they are built upon an actual science: Actuarial.

The company has to stay sound, the con-man just one step ahead of both victims and law.

Actuaries have employed the help of vastly powerful quantum computers to perform astronomical calculations for them.

So you are indeed saying there is not a single bit of difference between how (D) and (R) play their games?

They are both just as bad when it comes to slobbing corporate knob right?

WHICH corporate knobs they are slobbing and why has NOTHING to do with their scummy factor because both corrupt, so both equally bad, right?

You sticking with that? :D

Yes or no, I don't want another as vague and obtuse, kinda just repeating myself just in case I need to grab this goalpost and run like hell again answer. Give me something definitive at the very least....so I can bust out who's circle jerking who charts and we can see just how NOT the fucking the same (D) and (R) actually are.

Fucking YES that is what I am saying not a fucking DIMES worth of difference. Most special interests contribute to both and all get access and influence for the money.

I don;t give a fucking goddamn what some idiotic chart prepared by one side or the other how their side isn't fucking us...they both are and they both have people to make fucking charts...I don't do dueling charts.

So you also think that spending on education, infrastructure, HC is just as bad as spending on pointless Iraq occupation, military gear we don't need and cutting the richest people who have ever existed in all of recorded humanity tax brakes because they don't want to pay for the war they demanded?

REALLY???

I know you don't do charts, numbers and facts. It fucks up your whole "democrats are just as into the military and wall street as republicans are!!" fantasy.

Democrats bread n' butta is in the universities, green energy, big pharma and the medical industrial complex if you will....not so much the banks and Military/popo/prison industrial complex, coal/oil. Those are largely republican.

The democrats are for ANY fucking thing they can get their dirty, corrupt mitts on...same with republicans...keep believing your side only wants to waste money on wonderful things...they want to waste money on things that the lobbyists pay them to spend money on. Period.

Right...but at least the democrats want to spend it here.......on us in SOME kind of appealing manner.

GOP? They just want to blow up rag heads and stick poor folks with the bill. They haven't even TRIED to do anything positive for Americans here in America in like 30 fucking years.

He keeps screaming about how he believes that there is no difference between the two parties and that he supports neither, but just as soon as someone says the same damned thing, suddenly there is a big difference and that is how much worse the Republicans are on the issues that matter to him.

And, he doesn't even see this through the cloud of smoke.
