Looking for a story I read a few years ago about a cop who refuses to go to a class reunion because his ex gorfriend (who has become famous) announced that she would be attending with her celebrity boyfriend. I don’t remember much of the story, just that at end of the story, the cop and the girl goes back to school at USC?
