Cookie Parties

I just got back from my 1st cookie party of the Holiday season. Yes, I said 1st one...I have at least one more to attend.

I am loaded down with a box of 20 different kinds of homemade cookies. Not a bad haul for one afternoon of baking one kind of cookie.

Of course I now have 60 cookies and I'm a household of 1. How many calories is that? eeehhhh...who cares! They don't count at Christmas right? (just agree with me and move on)

I love the peanut butter, M&M, chocolate chip, oatmeal kind best. We call them monster cookies - I guess 'cause they turn you into a cookie monster.

PB~ You should check out "Batter's" thread he started about Christmas. A few of us here have been posting all sorts of yummy recipes and craft ideas. You might enjoy maybe adding something to it.

If you have time to share that receipe I am sure my family and the people in my cookie party would love it. Sounds like it has all the bases covered for everyone. Mmmm!

atwist on the cookie parties

we do a ginger bread house party, each person/family (we do mother daughter) brings a pre-assembled house to the party to decorate as well as a bag of candy. We decorate for hours and eat way to much candy. Afterwards we have a nice dinner and gingerbread men for dessert. Everyone usually brings a favor to exchange and we do a grab bag. its usually a lot of fun.
