The answer depends on what format and where the video is and what format you want it in on your website.

If the video is in a "standard" file format, it shouldn't require converting -- Windows Media Player, and many other available media players, can play any video format that there is an installed CODEC for. Just put the file on the website and link it into a page for download or streamed viewing.

WMV format which u can use windows media encoder or the windows movie maker under windows XP is probably the simplest way of going about it.
