I value good conversation too, and part of me is very empathetic to your plight. The other part of me wants to grab you by the shoulders (in a totally non-sexual way), and shake you vigorously while saying "well look at the forum you came to!"

Coming to lit to gripe about gratuitous penis shots and weak conversation is a bit like going to a tap house and complaining when the barender can't make you a cosmopolitan.
