So here it is almost Saint Valentines Day, which means it's time for really expensive greeting cards and roses. Well we're poets, darnit. We can write our own sloppy purple prose. We can create illustrated poems so perfumed with romance that we don't need no steenkin roses (not at $70 USD a dozen we sure don't).
And then there are conversation hearts. You know, these sugary little thingamabobs--

I find them rather uninspiring myself (and frankly would be fairly concerned if some guy said some of their one-word messages to me, like uh Hotcha.
But what if one wrote a little poem that starts with one of those "conversation heart" phrases? It might look something like this--

and therein lies the challenge ------------------>
Write a short (10-15 word) poem that starts with a conversation heart sentiment (e.g., Be Mine, Hotcha, you get the idea...) and then use any photoshopy type program to place your lovely sentiment on a blank conversation heart like this--

And then what you ask? Well then the illustrious Wicked Eve, the patron something or other of this challenge (which should make you very nervous considering the last Eve-Angeline collaboration produced the Disco Inferno challenge--but that was really Razz Rajen's fault

Oh yeah. Eve will swoop in like an avenging Cupid and spirit your poem off for posting in the February issue of whosiwhatsit.
Then you can show it all to the object of your affection and earn his or her undying something. S'alright?
