What about a pair from opposite ends of the country who meet each 4 years at their party's presidential convention- at 18 they are nervous virgins; at 22, they are experiencing new things; at 26 they seem like veterans to the "youngsters" but learn from each other; at 30, one is newlywed, the other ???....

Same time, next year was also what came to my mind.

Every four years could also work. Maybe they're delegates. Some times, they're voting for the same candidate. They have sex twice a day every day they are at the convention.

Other years they're voting for different ones. They don't have sex until the night of the last day of the convention when the party's candidate wins the nomination.

And, like the movie, they grow over the years through problems that are overcome separately but effects both, or overcome together.

I think it also depends on which convention they go to. If they go to the Republican convention, does she end up having a baby from him one or two times from not using any birth control? Lol. And if they go to the Democratic convention do they use rubbers each time? Would they know more the first time if they were Democrats then if they were Republicans before having sex. I know there are more and you don't have to agree with me on any of those thoughts to think of differences on which convention they go to, to how their events would turn out.
