Contradictory Feedback

I recently posted a short First Time story, which I thought was kind of cute. It is very light on the sex, though. It has gotten more comments than many of my other stories, and I've been surprised by the sharp divergence in the feedback, ranging from "I thought the story was well done.... Really really cool. This is the first time I've ever left a comment here but you've earned it" and "The most intriguing story I've read in a while" to "Just bad" and "total rubbish." I find it interesting that this story got such an intense response.(Note--one commenter pointed out a minor error, and I have submitted a revised version to fix it and a couple of typos, but I don't think that is the source of the hostility)

Well, look at it this way, that you got such emotional responses, both positive and negative, means you're doing something right. Keep it up.

Just be glad your story evoked strong enough emotions to fuel comments (& votes?) -- that reuires either very good or very bad writing and very bad writing generally doesn't get good comments.

Recently a single anonymous has been reading through my stories but seems to find that femdom threatens (presumably) him. He suggests violent responses to the femdom mistresses. If you don't like femdom, why read so many?

I've gotten a couple of those recently very vicious towards the female characters.

However it seems he is not reading the stories he mentioned cheating sluts getting what they deserved in a group sex story where a married couple fooled around with their maid(together) so no cheating at all.

I think they left the door open in the LW cage and one escaped.

I was hoping to hear about a single reply that said how much they loved your while at the same time telling you to fuck off. I leave disappointed.

I'll have to see if I can find it, but I had a private feedback that stated

"I think you're a fucking asshole on the boards and your incest stories are the work of a diseased mind, but I just read Karma not realizing it was you and...

It was an amazing sweet and well written piece. Seeing what you're capable of when you get your mind out of the sewer make me hate you even more."

Still not as contradictory as I was hoping for. I was thinking more like, "I hated everything about this story but I came anyway just to spite how bad it really was."
