A lesbian adventure.

I can't really picture this one yet as far as its plot development might occur.

The basic premise is the unexpected death of the husband next door. After the immediate period of grieving, our couple reach out to help in any way they can by small acts of kindness, inviting round to dinner and to accompany them on their weekend outings. Gradually they become friends of the widow in a closer way than had ever been the case before the death.

Our husband's job eventually takes him on a weeks long commercial trip. In his absence, the two women become ever more closely... intimate? The husband returns home finally to find a new light in his wife's eyes and an appetite for life which wasn't there before in such abundance.

I think this is probably best done as a step-by-step, slow burner, which doesn't really fit with my own preference for short stories. Anyone else is welcome to make use of it as they see fit.

I could see this as either:
  • An older married couple take a younger widow under their wing
  • A younger married couple support an older widow
Both would have very different vibes, but both could potentially be really sweet and sexy!

Yes - and precisely the kind of slower-burning, friendship to semi-romance to full-on physical that appears in almost none of the stories submitted to Lit.

The archives section of this site is a rubbishy, wham-bam shlockfest. How anyone can get any kind of rush from the "looks" and "likes" counts is beyond me. I suppose it's a matter of shallow calling to shallow.

As the saying goes, 90% of everything is crap, especially on an amateur site. For many authors here, Literotica is the first time they've tried writing fiction since they left school. It doesn't hurt to be courteous to those who are just beginning, especially when you're getting stories for free without even an obligation to contribute your own stories in return.

But there are slow-burn stories here and they're appreciated by readers. Quite a few in the Lesbian top list last I looked (admittedly, that was a while back). I've posted a couple in other categories too, and even when sex comes into the story early that doesn't preclude developing the relationship further.

If you want more slow-burn stories, best way is to write some ;-)

Couldn't agree more.

In fairness, comment #4 is right: providing you take the contributions section as being being a playground for, in the vast majority, those with more testosterone than any genuine writing talent, you'll be on safe ground.

But then those odds generally imply the need to expend an inordinate amount of time and effort to find something half decent and - possibly like you - I can't be bothered. I stopped trying to wade through that particular bog within a month or so of joining the site.

I would guess you need to concentrate on the moment where the two women "click"... flickering firelight in each others' eyes, a kindly word said or hug given when the need for it is great, whatever.

It can be a moment when the husband, having previously been as important as the wife in the business of "consoling", suddenly becomes an unimportant bit player and the seeds of attraction are sown.

For some reason, I could see this as a younger married couple, one of them a futanari, take care of an older widow. 😆😘😁

I'd read this no matter how you spin it. Lots of options. Maybe our widow and her late husband were active swingers or nudists. So where the couple starts out comforting her, and eventually bringing her into their bed, then widow begins to lead them in new directions.

I am SO into sexy Mary Poppins stories, where an outsider comes in because of one problem, and ends up solving a different problem 🤤
